Review Time
This company is run by crooks. They are drop-shipping clothes from China. I bought a pair of ballet sneakers from them a few months ago, and after a month of waiting (they came from China; when I tracked my order I saw they were using a shipping service from China to USA) , I was sorely disappointed with the shoes. The shoes were obviously poor quality - they smelled of plastic when opened and the coloring (which was unevenly applied to begin with) started chipping off almost immediately, among other issues; the material on the inside has started disintegrating after a few months wear as well. These are not a $150 pair of shoes. I should have investigated more. It turns out, a quick google search will show that these exact same shoes are available on Aliexpress. This company is sourcing their items from Aliexpress. Avoid at all costs.
Any advise for me. I just got ordered from this website but when I trying to track it says that abnormal delivery no other reason indicated. I am afraid that I can't accept the parcel. What to do been trying to contact them too their email but until now I didn't receive any update to them.
I visited the Double Standard website a couple times before buyinganything and finally caved for a pair of the Ballet sneakers (as I saw them allover my IG feed, LOL) and been legit wearing them everyday since. Not only arethey comfortable but I can genuinely wear them all the time and all situations.Been getting tons of compliments for them too. Love you DS, I recommend!!!
awful experience. the size was not correct, and the delivery was late so the 'gift' was useless and late and now i have to pay to exchange a size because they misadvertised on their website. the shoe itself looks cheap as hell considering they were $150. do not buy from here.. total waste of my money. i urge others to THINK VERY HARD about ordering from a company with misadvertised sizes, but will only give you a credit when you point out the sizes do not even match what is advertised. never in my life have i had worse customer service. better off to drop your money down the toilet. itd be less infuriating. they think money grows on trees.
Seriously the worst customer service I have ever received. It’s says NYC in the brand name but ships from China. Website said 1 week shipping but they lied. It took way long so I contacted them and USPS, both who took forever to write me back. Even when their team wrote me they didn’t even try to help contact the carrier. The package was “delivered” in three weeks while I was on vacation and no one was home to receive it. Now they refuse to refund me even though by the time I got back from vacation my package was gone. They do not care about customer service.
I got the Herby hells because they are gorgeous, but they were a bit tight so I decided to exchange them for a bigger size. The whole exchange process took around 14 days. The new size feels much better now. Can't wait to see some of their future drops.
