The 2 girls that I met at the desk on the day I arrived were fabulous after I encountered a problem with my credit card. One was called Kamila and I forgot the name of her colleague. Both were fabulous. They helped me to move the situation forward. I had a great car which was very reliable. All round, it was a positive experience. Many thanks.
I traveled to England to visit a dying friend who was lying in a Hospice. The pick at Manchester airport was quick it was around 11 in the evening when we arrived at the Dravidian office. The guy at the office started with the paperwork he asked me if I wanted the excess Insurance which I didn’t as I had already bought another one when it came to paying he said he couldn’t accept my Credit Card as my name wasn’t on it which wasn’t true my name was on the the card the white colouring had faded but not completely but he wasn’t having it and said if I wanted the car I would have to pay for the excess insurance and that I could pay this with a Debit Card all of a sudden ( they don’t normally accept a Debit Card) here I was eleven o’clock at night with my back against the wall and he was forcing me to pay this excess Insurance because he couldn’t see my name on the card which wasn’t true , I also have two other cards from the same bank both Also with my name on them both Debit cards just to prove that the Credit card was mine. He wasn’t interested he just wanted the 348 Pounds for the Insurance it all stunk to high heaven. I had no other option but to pay or I would been stuck there. A disgrace. Giving the car back was no problem and I was given a prompt lift back to the airport.Peter Savic
Last week I took a Mercedes from their branch at Heathrow The car was dirty, scratched and dented on most panels, some safety linked warning lights blinked on and off, the screen wash bottle was empty so I filled it - but then I discovered the washer just didn’t work! The USB port didn’t work so I couldn’t charge my phone.To make my life complete I then noticed that the tank only had fuel for an estimated 71 miles.After posting Drivalia my complaint Drivalia asked me to contact them directly so that they could address my issues. Well i did, and after 24 hours i received a bland copy and paste piece of corporate nonsense (see below), this is a dreadful firm. I had given a positive review. Nice clean car, easy collection and return, good value etc. I said in my original review that booking through Expedia with the extra insurance did not alleviate having £1500 held on my credit card, which was annoying. A week since returning that £1500 is still held on my credit card despite nothing owing etc. I find this totally unacceptable and will stop my using this firm again - had thought might be my new first choice for car hire, but now definitely not!
