Bought a Tissot watch 9 months ago and noticed the hour hand was slow and not working properly. When I tried to register the warranty with Tissot to get it repaired Tissot told me the 2 year warranty on the watch had already been registered 2 years BEFORE I purchased it so it was out of warranty. Contacted Easy Watches but no response. Owner is called BEN OLIVER SUTTON of BS Software Limited who has cancelled and reregistered the company under a new number since purchase - Probably to avoid claims like this. CLEARLY THIS IS A SCAM, I have raised a chargeback dispute (which I am entitled to do). Appalling that this is allowed.

As a long term Seiko watch enthusiast and collector…I initially had reservations buying from Easy Watches. Not for any other reason beyond their Trustpilot customer reviews, and for what AI advised as a trusted seller - the AI response I received was clearly based around the customer reviews. I was also a little sceptical of Easy Watches prices, they slightly undercut other similar grey market Seiko e-tailers. Sometimes, a low price can be too good to be true…But my biggest concern remained. Do Easy Watches sell counterfeit watches as some of their customer reviews state?Prior to purchase, I contacted customer service requesting information on their sourcing channels. I did not get a response. But as their prices are so keen, I went ahead and purchased a Seiko 5 Sports Black Grape model SSK001K1 applying a discount code. The transaction on my credit card said Vario Marti Limited which rang alarm bells. Surely a purchase from Easy Watches should show as such on the transaction?I waited for my watch to arrive, I don’t believe Easy Watches hold stock in the UK. I received notice that my watch had been collected by the Courier earlier than the estimated arrival. Easy Watches use EVRi. My watch sat in EVRi’s depot for over a week before being processed and dispatched for delivery. I chased EVRi daily; they are hopeless and you can’t get to speak to a human, they have a chat bot, and emails receive automated responses. Anyway, my watch arrived 10 days from being collected, but at least it did materialise. I did contact Easy Watches regarding the delayed delivery and I was contacted by Linda who was very supportive and helpful. Her intervention did seem to force EVRi into action. I unpacked my new Seiko with slight trepidation believing the “counterfeit watches” accusations on their reviews. But I needn’t have worried. I consider myself well experienced handing many hundreds of watches in my time, and have confidence in my ability to identify a fake or illegitimate watch, especially with the Seiko brand. Suffice to say, I have no concerns about the legitimacy of my 5KX GMT. Seiko have several manufacturing facilities across Asia, and watches produced in these facilities do slightly vary. But all are made to the same vertically integrated standards. Packaging and paperwork can widely vary too for different markets. The Acid Test:I have other 5KX GMT watches in my collection, some bought from trusted grey market sellers, others from Seiko authorised dealers. I have compared my Easy Watches supplied SSK to the others in my collection and there is nothing whatsoever causing doubt about my watch being anything other than a genuine Seiko. I’m not naive. I scored Easy Watches four out of five for the inconsistent communication (they never answer the phone, or didn’t to me anyway!) And the poor delivery experience I endured. Other than that, my purchasing experience was fine. Linda is very polite and assistive, if you hear back from her. Perhaps she manages correspondence single handed? Who knows. But if you have concerns about receiving counterfeit goods buying from Easy Watches, don’t have. They would be taking a massive risk bringing counterfeit goods across the UK boarders if their products were fake. Their website states 100% genuine watches; as a customer, I am confident this is upheld. I have no doubt my Seiko was sourced from China, but Seiko produce watches in China. And that’s what you get. A Chinese made legitimate Seiko. I am happy and confident to stand by this from my experience and research. Give Easy Watches a chance. They are slow to respond and deliver, but you can’t argue with their prices. You get a genuine watch if you’re prepared to wait patiently.
Ordered a Tissot watch, was sceptical at first because of the low price. Should have trusted my instincts, but have learnt the hard way. Placed the order, got confirmation the watch would arrive between the 28th November and 5th December. On the 4th December contacted Easy Watches and Linda replied saying I needed to wait another day until the 5th. Since then (now the 10th) I’ve emailed them about 6 times, no replies at all, and tried to phone them, but they don’t answer the phones either. Absolutely zero customer service. I will now have to try to get my money back somehow.
Edit - well thank you for the reply Linda, but just because i compared it to 1 other watch isn't the only reason i believe it to be a counterfeit, because very obvious issues like the misaligned crystal or clear differences such as the bezel missing the indents at 6 and 12 for removal and the crystal chamfer are things that are obvious in many online pictures and professional guides for differentiating counterfeit watches from real ones, and surely an official Seiko boutique is to be trusted to have official watches...Edit 2: you removed my review by reporting it for "advertising or promotional content", okay fine i will remove said link even if it is in no way advertising. All for the more i can add to this review showing the company's true self.Original Review:Overall a great business with great prices on their watches and fast shipping....until you receive your watch and can immediately tell it is a counterfeit. The seiko 5 gmt that i received was 100% counterfeit proven by multiple clues which i have mentioned below, and i even took the watch to a certified Seiko Boutique/office who verified it and kindly showed it to me against the exact same model but genuine, and surely enough all of the issues i spotted and a couple more were revealed.Furthermore, a week or so prior to purchasing from easy watches, i initially seen the watch and tried it on at a Goldsmiths, which btw is one of the leading jewellers in the UK with over 25K reviews on trustpilot and a 4.3 rating, founded in 1778. In absolutely no way could their watches have been counterfeit, and this is the reason I could tell immediately it was counterfeit before even going to the seiko boutique. Because i thought to myself, why not save a little money, so i stumbled across this store on the first google page, but all I'm left with is a waste of my time.1.Rotating bezel has no indent on the contact surface above 12 and 6 for removal2. The crystal chamfer/bevel is much softer compared to the original3. The crystal is very visibly off centre when comparing it against the day window4. The metal band was wrapped in a layer of plastic whereas the original only has layers on, and it also has the end links protected by plastic.5. The tag should not state SSK003K1, only SSK0036. No warranty card or booklet included in boxKeep in mind this is all without any disassembly, who knows what other issues you would find movement related etc...To my surprise, they accepted my return request, although they did not claim it was or was not counterfeit, they simply accepted my complaint without issue and sent me a return label, so i suppose it gets 1 extra star for this, although i still don't want to know how many people have been fooled by these counterfeit timepieces.
A little disappointed with this company, I ordered a watch, it took 5 days for them to tell me "they couldn't find it in the warehouse" They did give me the option of changing the watch but the selection they sent wasn't great and nothing like the watch ordered. I opted for a full refund, as the fault was on there side, in the past other companies refund straight away, I'm still waiting for mine. The communication hasn't been too bad, but to wait for a refund when I haven't received anything or sent anything back is poor. I bank with Barclays, when you get a refund it will show up straight away, even if it's still pending, it has been a couple of days and nothing has shown up, which tells me they still haven't processed the refund. This is believable as it took the company 5 days to realise they didn't even have the watch in stock. Disappointed and a bit vexed as I have sourced the watch elsewhere and need the refund to purchase it. It is a suprise gift for an event coming up soon, this is all delaying me. Not ideal.....
Selling fake watches, don’t waste your money. My Experience.1. There is no Seiko warranty card in the box?2. There is a silicone bag in the box, Seiko do not shipped with silicon bags.3. The watch was wrapped in cellophane which is not normal for Seiko 4. Serial number on dial doesn’t match number on back
