Great experience from start to finish. Craig initially came to see myself and explain what the company had to offer. He was very professional and informative from start to finish. The men that came out to fit my windows and doors done a five star job, leaving everything looking perfect even once they had left. Angela was also great with follow up and ensuring that all was well. Would recommend this company to anybody looking for new windows or doors!
I was "paired" to Eco Installations Scotland , on the back of a tele-sales call regarding the possibillity for grants for the installation of environmentally sound glazing and doors. Must admit the approach and manner of the salesman who visited our home was first class, no heavy push, and very chatty. He did the measurements for our conservatory and prompted a valuation quite quickly on his 2nd visit, a price was agreed, a deposit paid immediately and a finance option for balance was dually set up, this was on the 9th April 2025. Three weeks later having heard no word i reached out to the salesman for an update on fabrication and install progress, i was promised an update, it never came, another 2 weeks later i did the same and was gauranteed an update ... didnt happen. 1 week after that (now 5 weeks), i contacted a lady at the firm, she actually apologised and would seek an explanation for the "radio silence" ... it never came. On week 6 (13th May) i wrote to the Boss, who assured me of an update on progress by the Friday (3 days later) ... it never came. On 29th May i was contacted by a member of staff to tell me that the design/fabrication was proving tricky and they were asking for another £2500 to see the design and fabrication through. I opted to cancel at this point and have quickly recieved my deposit back, no quibble. The point of the review is not aimed at dimantling Eco Installations Scotlands credibility, but more so, to inform of the proper way to manage a customers expectation(s), from the 9th April to the 29th May not one single peice of information, correspondence, txt, or voice mail was sent to me and this i find really hard to understand why even as a matter of courtesy this wouldnt happen. I will say, anyone whom i did engage with from the company were well mannered, and well intentioned, but the comms and ultimate lack of delivery on an "agreed" project ( in my case) was not the best experience.
We had Ian from Eco Installations come out to look at our windows, and he was absolutely superb, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and completely pressure free. No hard sell, just honest, open conversation about what we needed.Our home is a large 5-bed bungalow with windows of varying ages, and Ian, carefully inspected each one, along with our doors. We made it clear we only wanted to replace what was necessary, like for like, and he respected that entirely. The quote we received was very fair, and we felt comfortable proceeding.I did my due diligence beforehand and was reassured to hear that they’re backed by FENSA, the Scottish Government grant scheme, and the FSA. Having been stung in the past, that peace of mind was really important to us.The windows haven’t been fitted yet, so I’ll update with details and photos once they are, but so far, I’m genuinely happy with the whole experience. Ian left his number in case we had any questions, and we are left feeling well looked after from the start.Thanks to Ian and the team at Eco Installations, we’re feeling confident we made the right choice.
Shaun & Harvey the installers were on time.They did the job efficiently and to a very good standard, keeping me informed of any issues a long the way.They cleaned down most areas very well, paying special attention to cleaning down neighbours properties.I think they were able to finish in record time!
The company representative was knowledgeable, comuniicative and he answered all of our questions with as much information as we required. Pricing was explained in detail and when we had agreed to buy new windows potential installation dates were fully discussed and agreed.
