Sylvia made it great. Most hotels were good some better than others, food was a little hit and miss. Our tour guides at each location were also really good. And as always kudos to the bus driver - managing a bus in those cities that were definitely not built for buses. Massimo did great
Tour guide (Klaudia) - Exceptional!Hotels - Space was very tight in the airport hotels in Brussels and Amsterdam for the rooms with two adults. Book rooms with two beds when there is more than one adult -- no exceptions!Bus drivers - Amazing!
According to our daughters who travelled on the recent Costa Rica education trip, EF tours provided excellent guides who were very knowledgeable ,energetic and entertaining. This coupled with excellent teacher chaperones and really great group of peers helped create an experience of a lifetime.
I genuinely loved every moment of this extremely well‑planned trip. The local guides were excellent—knowledgeable, engaging, and captivating. Our students benefited from meaningful, experiential learning opportunities throughout the tour.The accommodations were comfortable and well‑chosen, and the food was mostly excellent. The only minor downside was having chicken three nights in a row (or beans and potatoes for our vegetarians), but aside from that, the meals were enjoyable and well‑prepared. Special shout out for the amazing "pastitsio" served at Nafsika Palace. Our tour director, Santi, was particularly outstanding. He was patient, supportive, and consistently went above and beyond for our group. From taking some students on a hike to joining us for volleyball and beach fun in Greece, he helped make the experience even more memorable and meaningful for everyone.In the event of what turned out to be a short‑lived emergency (a lost passport), EF Tours was supportive, responsive, and ready to act. Their calm approach and clear guidance ensured everything was resolved quickly and with minimal stress.Overall, this was an incredibly gratifying experience, and I look forward to hopefully travelling with EF again in the future.
Mathieu, our EF tour representative, made the trip fantastic. He was the absolute best. He was great with the students and with the chaperone. I can't say enough good things about his capabilities. I am eager to book an even bigger group of grade nines next year because of how wonderful he made everything. I hope we get him again!
