I genuinely loved every moment of this extremely well‑planned trip. The local guides were excellent—knowledgeable, engaging, and captivating. Our students benefited from meaningful, experiential learning opportunities throughout the tour.The accommodations were comfortable and well‑chosen, and the food was mostly excellent. The only minor downside was having chicken three nights in a row (or beans and potatoes for our vegetarians), but aside from that, the meals were enjoyable and well‑prepared. Special shout out for the amazing "pastitsio" served at Nafsika Palace. Our tour director, Santi, was particularly outstanding. He was patient, supportive, and consistently went above and beyond for our group. From taking some students on a hike to joining us for volleyball and beach fun in Greece, he helped make the experience even more memorable and meaningful for everyone.In the event of what turned out to be a short‑lived emergency (a lost passport), EF Tours was supportive, responsive, and ready to act. Their calm approach and clear guidance ensured everything was resolved quickly and with minimal stress.Overall, this was an incredibly gratifying experience, and I look forward to hopefully travelling with EF again in the future.
The brilliant tour Director, Jonathan Marcotte made every day spectacular! He really knew his stuff and even when plans had to change or timelines did not work out, he had a contingency in place.The bus driver was also very professional and friendly and kept the bus neat as a pin. He really knows how to get the bus in and through very tricky city and "old city" streets.The only reason for the missing extra star is the "fullness" of the tour. It was too jam-packed with events. I would recommend less activities and more time for the highlight teenager activities like Snowtubing and sledding in Quebec. Activities generally took longer that expected which sometimes left too little time at the end of the day activities. Sometimes less really is more.
Our tour guide Uncle Dave was superb! He was knowledgeable, funny, and knew exactly what we needed. The days were action packed and kept the kids engaged while immersing them in French language and culture. The food catered to the kids but it was nice to have one night of traditional French Canadian food and music at the Sugar Shack. Having a night security guard at the hotel, as well as an excellent bus driver during the days made us feel well looked after and safe. Would highly recommend EF Tours!
