Purchased a Sony XR-77A80J OLED TV in 2021. In under four years, it suffered a complete OLED panel failure (four red blinking lights).
Despite multiple escalations to Sony Customer Relations, no replacement, repair, or accommodation was offered.
For a premium flagship TV, this is unacceptable and has greatly reduced my confidence in Sony products and support.

Purchasing directly is a frustrating experience

Buying anything directly from the company is incredibly frustrating. The best advice I received from a customer representative was to make purchases on third-party websites. I attempted to use several bank cards and PayPal express checkout, but each time I received an order confirmation email followed by a cancellation email. It seems the company prefers to pay a commission to platforms like Amazon rather than allowing direct purchases, which is absurd.

Avoid purchasing TVs from this store!

Steer clear of buying a TV from this store! I recently purchased a 65-inch model, but upon arrival, it was clear it was too small for the space we had in mind. When I called to request an exchange for a larger model, I was told no. Instead, I could return it with a $150 fee and order the larger one without a discount, as I’d already used it on the unwanted TV. I wish I had bought from a different retailer.

The representatives seem either uninformed or indifferent to local consumer laws. They impose conditions that conflict with established regulations, making it difficult for honest customers to return products or utilize warranties. It's vital for consumers to hold the company accountable.

The service is incredibly incompetent and unhelpful. Customer support often shifts responsibility to others. After purchasing their products and paying for online services, I receive no assistance for my issues. It's disheartening to see a company of this size neglect its customers. Never received my order
