Bought a Candy washing machine. Firstly I had to turn back the water feed as it takes the water in short sharp pulses which rattled all the pipes in the house, was afraid it would damage my pipework. Secondly, the touch pad buttons rarely work, have to press them several times before they do anything. Then after 8 months the drum stopped turning. Chatbot on customer helpline very frustrating, got nowhere so called up where I purchased it who requested an Engineer visit and stated contact would be made within 24hours. 3 days still nothing so called again, eventually got an email asking what the fault was, replied. Another 2 days still no appointment so called repair company myself (Pacifica), they said the only day for repairs in my area was Monday (one of the 3 days I work) and no option to amend or choose. After nearly a week with no washing machine and not even as far as a convenient engineer appointment let alone fixing it, I called the vendor again and demanded a refund which was eventually agreed, machine being collected in 5 days. All in all a frustrating process. Going back to my trusted brand Beko. Shame as the spec and programs on the Candy were good just the quality and back up is not there.
I received a slimline dishwasher as a gift, but it has been disappointing. The outlet pump is malfunctioning, causing water to stagnate and potentially breed bacteria. I'm faced with a significant charge for an engineer visit if it’s not a factory issue, or I can opt for insurance. Quite a challenging situation!
We were informed by the company in August to stop using our tumble dryer due to a fault. After contacting them on September 2nd and booking an engineer, we waited a day for a response. Two months passed with no communication! Eventually, we received a letter stating that after an engineer visit, they couldn't fix the issue and would contact us within 48 hours about a replacement. 1- NO ENGINEER CAME. 2 - After a week, I called back and they couldn't provide a delivery date for the new product. Now, 3.5 months without a dryer, this company is terrible. Avoid them at all costs!
I want to warn others not to waste their hard-earned money. I spent a significant amount on a washing machine nearly 3 years ago, expecting it to last. Instead, it broke in under 3 years, and now it continuously fills with water. When I sought help, I had a frustrating experience with an unhelpful representative who quoted an exorbitant repair fee. For just a bit more, I could buy a much better machine with a solid warranty. Please, consider a more reliable brand instead.
I received a slimline dishwasher as a gift. Unfortunately, the outlet pump isn't working, leaving water stagnant in the reservoir. I'm facing a significant charge for an engineer visit if it's not a factory fault, or I can pay for insurance. Quite a tricky situation!
I had two washing machines from this company. The first malfunctioned after 11 months, with intermittent pump and spin issues. The second one broke down a month in, with the same problem. An engineer noted it was due to the inferior materials used. Some representatives in their call center were unhelpful and rude, and the third-party repair service was also very unprofessional. I can't see myself purchasing from this company again.
I purchased a dishwasher from a seller known for good service. Unfortunately, the dishwasher itself is of low quality, but the real issue is the INSUFFICIENT installation and user guide. The information provided is often vague and sometimes completely incorrect! Their customer support seems to be nonexistent. STAY AWAY!
I purchased a hob several months ago, and after a short time, the coating on the pot supports began to peel, exposing the metal underneath. When I reached out to the company, they suggested I had used abrasive cleaners, which was quite insulting considering my experience with appliance care. I pointed out that we used only non-abrasive materials. They didn't even respond to my email, showing poor customer relations. I suspect the design is to blame for the coating failure, just another company avoiding their responsibilities.
