Disappointed by Lack of Communication and Service

Once again, I am let down by the service. There was no call to inform me of the delivery. Due to my disability, the driver left the gas bottle at the entrance of my property, claiming that the support team stated drivers don't carry phones due to company policy. It's hard to believe that in 2025, a driver wouldn't have a phone. I feel misled. If you want a service that disappoints, this is the one to choose. As someone with a disability, I was left to struggle bringing the bottle nearly 50 meters to my house and then connecting it. This should have been included in the service we paid for. There was no offer of a discount, just an insincere apology filled with excuses. We cannot recommend this service due to their lack of honesty and failure to provide the service we expected.

Elgas is NOT RECOMMENDED - Extremely Disappointing

Once again, I have been let down by this service. There was no communication about their arrival. CAUTION: Extremely Dishonest Business!

CAUTION: This has to be one of the most dishonest businesses in the area. We have had gas leaking from our bottles. When they were replaced, we were assured there was no leak detected. However, our billing frequency changed from every few months to every few weeks. I insisted something was wrong, but they denied it. I noticed that every single bill showed an increased rate! I didn’t realize they raised their fees with each delivery. When I switched to a new provider, they pointed out that our regulator was leaking and had likely been doing so for some time, putting our home at risk. The previous service just said it wasn’t their responsibility. Truly an incredible lack of integrity.

Joining the Wave of Complaints...

I’m adding my voice to the many complaints about this service. I've been a customer for 23 years. I live on a farm with limited access. I received a message about a delivery on the 1st of November, but it never arrived. On the 12th, when I called, I was told they would no longer deliver to my property and that my account had been canceled! No prior notification. This is unacceptable for a major company.

Still Waiting for Gas Delivery After 16 Days

I am still waiting for my gas order after 16 days. I informed them that we were nearly out of gas, yet they still cannot guarantee delivery. They have missed delivery three times already. I've been with this service for over 20 years, and it has never been this bad. In the past, they would have prioritized our delivery.

Incompetence After Years of Service

After 8 years with this service, they refused to fill my gas bottles. They have been empty for some time, yet they sent an invoice for yearly rental fees. There are no new regulations; they simply refuse to provide the service.

Reasons to Avoid This Service

I have been with this service for over 20 years, but the last few years have been a struggle with delivery issues, price hikes, and no way to reach them. It’s almost impossible to speak to someone directly; I usually get redirected to a call center that just takes notes. I requested a callback for easier communication, but instead, I received an email two weeks later stating they could do nothing. I told them they were pushing me to change suppliers, yet received no reply. I switched to a new provider who was knowledgeable and helpful. Now I’m battling to get a credit for the remaining rental period. Avoid this service for high prices, poor customer care, and late deliveries.

Awful First Experience

Despite arranging for delivery, my gas was not delivered as promised. I received excuses like needing a smaller truck, which makes no sense since other trucks access my property without issue. This has caused significant disruption to my household. When I contacted the team to explain the urgency—having a young baby and two school-aged children and being out of gas—I was met with a dismissive attitude. The representative I spoke to was unhelpful and claimed there was nothing she could do except wait for a message from the driver. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for families. The inability to cook, bathe, or care for children due to repeated failures has caused unnecessary stress.

Struggling to Get Gas Delivered

I have been trying to get gas delivered for six weeks. I fixed a compliance issue with a power point that I was unaware of, which they didn’t inform me about. Now, two weeks after addressing the issue and requesting delivery, I still have no gas.

Unsatisfactory Service Experience

Delivery times have now exceeded 6 business days. When I called to inquire about the delay in my area, the response was dismissive. They claimed they would call me back but never did. It’s not surprising they have a 100% one-star rating.
