I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one deserves it. I started with Empower Servers because their site made it sound like everything would be smooth — great hardware, 100% uptime, 24/7 support. In reality, it’s been nothing but lag, broken features, and silence from support.They moved my Minecraft server five times. One of those times they didn’t even tell me. I found out when the server started acting weird again. They later admitted they had put us on an overloaded machine, and still didn’t fix it. Backups didn’t restore, the control panel kept failing, and support kept giving me copy-paste responses like “we’ll send it to management.”After weeks of this, I asked for a refund and got nowhere. I had already prepaid for a full year, and they just ignored me — so I filed a PayPal dispute.I regret giving them a single dollar. Please go with a host that actually maintains their servers and respects their customers.Edit: My experience with Empower Servers started off very rough — constant lag, broken backups, and slow support. It took five migrations to get to a stable machine, and I was frustrated enough to file a PayPal dispute and leave a negative review.But to their credit, Empower didn’t ignore the situation. They refunded me, gave me a full year of service for free, upgraded my server’s RAM and storage, and moved me to a proper working node. Since then, performance has been solid and support has followed up multiple times to check in.I’m updating this review because they genuinely took responsibility and worked hard to fix things — and that counts. It wasn’t perfect, but they made it right in the end.
