Review Time
One of the cameras has gone really blurry and despite an overhaul it remains poor. Monthly subscription is steep and keeps going up. Don’t really like the base station set up. If we were to set up security from scratch we would definitely look elsewhere.
The system seems to be getting slightly worse over time. I've noticed a failure to produce audible notifications on occasion which is worrying. I've also noticed failure to capture movement consistently which again is worrying. Generally speaking it still does what I regard as OK but I intend to check out alternatives.
Removing Arlo cams since third party Veri sure call centre said they will send people around to remove them .pre pandemic... Small print contact says they can after I paid £450 deposit plus years monthly subscription, I personally wouldn't touch you too sick companies with barge pole you both deserve each other.....
We have Arlo on our property in Spain. Pre-installation was thorough in establishing exactly what we needed and installation on the property was quick. We had cameras fitted too outside. All systems were explained to us fully. Their security officers are on the phone to us within seconds if we accidently trip the alarm. An excellent service for peace of mind.
I love the Arlo and it provides good coverage / photographic views of people , however it never works when I need to speak to someone over the wifi, when answering the front door. I feel the connection between Arlo app and the phone is weak.
We used to have 2 external cameras and 1 internal. One of the external cameras failed to recharge after going low so we got another internal camera instead.Whilst we are pleased to have security around our home, the capture is a bit hit and miss. All 3 cameras are set to person only but they pick up cats, birds and washing and foliage movement.Very often we receive notification of someone at the front door but sometimes it only records the person leaving but it should record them arriving before this but doesn’t.
