This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Their cameras don’t work like they said.I was paying for the service but the cameras weren’t working.They also hide their disconnection fee . Don’t ever buy these cameras their service is very expensive. It’s a fraud.

Have got 3 Arlo cameras : Subscription Rip-Off : Don't Buy

Have got 3 Arlo camerasThe Good - Detection of Person/Animal/VehicleThe Bad - You have to pay £11.99 a month to use the system! Support not 24/7, M-F 0900-1730 only : unbelievable. Subs go up faster than the rate of inflation. Over the long term incredibly expensive for a service that must cost them a few pence a year. High ratings in the magazines but bottom ratings here - who knows more?

The product has no problems but the…

The product has no problems but the service is very tricky. In the beginning Arlo has no subscription charge . After a few months the subscription was each camera 3.99/m. After a few months increase to 5.99/m. Now, I was told will be 7.99/m. I paid more than $550 for cameras and now have to pay the subscription. I don’t like the way they do business.

It’s a Con. If we could give zero we would

If we could give zero we would, days and weeks later and our Arlo doorbell and chime do not work, the hours pulling out our hair trying in vain to get the thing to work is beyond impossible. We have now thrown it in the bin, whilst waiting to hear back from the supplier re our refund. Do Not Buy, it’s just a con!!!

Quite possibly the worst product I have…

Quite possibly the worst product I have ever purchased I have had the Arlo pro2 cameras for over six years with no problems. Then I decided to get the vide doorbell along with the chime. The doorbell went wrong after a 15 minute phone call they agreed to replace it. Then when the replacement arrived it took an age to get it to connect then the chime would not connect. And still does not work. When I look at my available WiFi networks there appears to be a random Arlo one. What a terrible product.

Probably the worse product I have ever purchased. Simply doesn’t not work. Cheap plastic cheap materials. Customer service is shocking. Please avoid

THE ARLO EXPERIENCE.... Don't do it....

I have endured the Arlo experience for 2 years now. Don't get me wrong "when" it works it is fine. It just very rarely does work. I have a five cameras, Arlo Pro3 system and there is almost NEVER a time when one of the cameras is either off line or simply not working. Their software is beyond useless, customer support is non existent, simply don't waste your money. Arlo should be working hard to fix this, but I am pretty sure they aren't.

Poor product and terrible customer support.

I paid 900 Euros for 3 cameras to be installed after my home was broken into. I had repeated issues where it logs me out of my device as another user is logged into my account. I advised them I only use 1 device and they told me its a software glitch. I have notifications of motion detection and when i go into the app they have been deleted. No videos for which i received notifications. App keeps changing recording length settings to 120 seconds. I reported this and they told me its also a software glitch. My house was broken into and someone deleted the video from my account. I needed this so i could go to the police with evidence. I was told by first adviser we will find out who accessed your account, my case was unanswered after several emails on support ticket and they came back 6 weeks after reporting these incidents and told me there is no security issue with the account. Who is deleting videos and changing settings and logging into my account?and breaking my bathroom window? They told me they dont hold data for longer than 45 days and when i requested to speak to a manager, they refused to put me through or even give me the managers name. Never had such poor customer service and rude customer service Representatives who speak over you constantly. Do not waste your money on this product

The usual business model of getting you…

The usual business model of getting you on the hook then commercialising every feature and then increasing prices. Impossible to get support to cancel and when you think they have they still debit your account. Online chat doesn't work. Freephone number doesn't work. Normal number doesn't work. Company registered phone number disconnects and no response to support ticket other than "check our community". Presumably of similarly disgruntled customers.Arlo were supposed to be better than Ring. They're not. Had to raise a stop on debit payments with Visa
