Bernard and Liam did a fantastic job for installing the solar panel and the system at my home. The work was super quick and clean. Mentioned the details to me in detail on how to use it and the functionality.Would definitely recommend them
The initial experience and installation were excellent. However, over 6 weeks later the scaffolding is still up, blocking side access to my garage (which was never agreed to). Despite 4 calls and 3 promises of a return call, nothing has been done.I also waited 5 weeks for the DNO certificate. After 2 calls I was confusingly emailed an incorrect ‘A3-2’ form, wrongly dated and stating my battery was in the loft (it’s in the garage). 2 further calls finally produced the correct DNO and MCS documents (which had already been available but not forwarded to me), allowing my switch to a cheaper Octopus import tariff and the start of the 4–6 week export approval process. I hope Evergen now resolves the remaining issues and improves post-installation follow-up. Strong start, disappointing follow-through.Added 25 Nov: We require Evergen to ensure removal of the scaffolding that's been blocking our garage side door for 7 weeks. If done so within 5 working days, our confidence in the company's after sales care would be improved. No explanation has been given for this delay despite repeated phone calls and requests for action.
A month after our install and we’re still living around the scaffolding which is hugely inconvenient for us and our neighbours. We’ve moved work commitments, and other appointments to fit in around the days and times they’re booked to remove it, but they never show up and ignore all attempts at contact. I’m starting to think we’ll have to pay another firm to remove it. Our install had some niggles, although they were resolved quite quickly, but the fairly positive experience pales into insignificance because of the terrible attitude they have round this scaffolding issue. Unprofessional, unhelpful, would not recommend.
A company that seems to pride itself in harassing potential customers to get a sale. These guys have been spam calling for a while, in fact, I previously said no over the phone, but they pushed anyway.For a 10kWh battery system and 12 solar panels, the cost came to around £14k-£16k. I already have a battery system installed which due to MCS they could not add solar panels to.Instead they were pushing for a whole new separate and independent system installed in the loft which goes against the latest regulations and would in my view then be some "bodge job". Instead they should have just said "sorry, we can't help you out due to your existing setup, here's what it would have looked like and some rough numbers for you" and called it a day.This was no fault of the bloke who did the survey, he did try and made a couple of calls, but your call centre staff clearly needs more training as they were the ones who said it was possible in the first place.Given the price though I was quoted I highly recommend people shop around a bit more, as I know there are other companies who will complete this for much less.
Excellent service and professionalism! Liam put the panels up extremely quickly and efficiently and Bernard was very accommodating when there were a few unforeseen issues with the electrics. He worked a solid ten hours to get it all done for us, amazing!! Would 100% recommend.
Almost booked an appointment but then had to postpone for personal reasons. The day before the suspended appointment I get a call asking me to reconsider -was it about money I was asked, I said no, it was for personal reasons, he then went on to completely ignore what I had just told him in an attempt to keep me on the line and convince me to make an appointment. As a direct result of his totally disrespectful manner I will not be using Evergen for a quote next spring as I was originally planning. It's worth pointing out that they have 16% of 1 star ratings - that's 1.5 people in every 5 give them one star. I can see why now!
Power on my Solar inverter went down on Friday afternoon so I called Evergen for help. I spoke to a member of the team, who was very helpful and forwarded the problem to tech dept.First thing Monday morning, today, I received a message from Daniel to inform me that the tech team was able to sort my problem online. Back up and running! Happy me, happy family.
