I paid a £100 deposit for a solar installation and cancelled within the 14-day cooling-off period, with written confirmation.Despite this, my deposit has not been returned.Additionally, scaffolding arranged by the company caused damage to my roof, which I am now having to repair.I have raised this with the company but have not received a satisfactory response.I would advise others to ensure they understand their cancellation rights and confirm how subcontractors are managed before proceeding. Very unprofessional.
The day after the scaffolding went up, I was emptying the bins and found an empty can of stella in the black bin. The day the solar was installed (a diferent day) I again found an empty can of stella in the black bin. Me and my partner don't drink. On both the days they visited I found beer in my black bin. Not sure I want someone intoxicated doing a solar instal.There was also a bunch of cigarette butts left on the driveway, maybe 6 or so, just not super professional. Sorry.
The install crew was brilliant—super respectful and left the place looking like they’d never been there. The best bit has been the after-sales support. Daniel helped me dial in my battery settings remotely so I’m saving a fortune on my off-peak energy. It’s rare to find a company that stays this helpful after the install is done. If you're looking for high-spec tech and people who actually care, Evergen is the way to go! He even got my paperwork sorted very promptly and offered expert advice on signing up to get paid from my energy provider!
