As a wedding photographer with nearly 15 years of experience, I’ve collaborated with many videographers. Unfortunately, my recent encounter with a subcontractor hired by this service was not positive. On the wedding day, I struggled to work alongside the videographer. Despite clear communication about ceremony logistics discussed with the couple, I faced resistance and dismissiveness. Key moments were affected by poor coordination, and his attitude was noted by guests as well. During filming, the subcontractor often used his phone and missed part of the couple’s first dance, an important moment. Although the final edits were visually impressive, a recurring shadow across much of the footage detracted from the overall presentation. I share this feedback in hopes of improving quality control over subcontractors and post-production, as we all aim to provide the best experience for couples.

I wanted to book a service for my wedding, and initially, everything seemed set. I thought they had secured my date, but when I reached out, it was no longer available. It seems they only hold dates for a couple of days. My girlfriend used them for her wedding, and her film turned out really well. Overall, I had a disappointing experience with a service for my wedding. They operate as a broker, pairing random videographers with editors, resulting in a somewhat incohesive film. Their examples do not accurately reflect their work. Additionally, we were charged extra for additional time with the videographer, only for the footage to be lost — whether by the videographer, the service, or the editor, we received neither raw nor edited versions of the footage we requested. We sought a refund from the project coordinator and have spent 2-3 months trying to obtain it without success. Quite disappointed and wish we had chosen a higher quality option.
