Vistaprint transferred my domain from webs to Exacthosting and it has been nothing but hassle. My emails have all been deleted - even though I paid Vistaprint everything up to February 2024. Exacthosting recently billed me for the emails, but nothing was delivered. I still have no access to my business email addresses. These companies are so bad.
I too have had my website transferred from Webs to Vistaprint and now Exact Hosting. Going from Webs to Vistaprint was sketchy enough, but Exact Hosting have invoiced me for a service I've already paid Vistaprint for! I've had lots of emails threatening to take my site down, but cannot get any reply from their Chat, email or support ticket.
This is really so DISGUSTING. A migration from webs.com to Exact hosting which do not have help support or chat box. I availed SSL Cert and was asking for an assistance on how to configure it. I've submit tickets many times and haven't received any reply.
As many others here have said, the customer service is barely there. The only time I managed to get through was when I actually sat through the 30 minute phone hold, and somebody answered. The issue we had was sorted, but more issues cropped up, and now our website and email are down, with no option for support over the weekend. The services we are trying to purchase (domain renewal) keep failing, even though the money is taken out and an invoice sent to us. Do not use this company! We are changing away from it as soon as we can get through to someone.
This is literally the worst, most irritating company I have ever dealt with. They bought my domain from webs.com, which I was not given a choice about. I have been trying to reach a human for three days. I have emailed multiple times. I did "live chat" which says everyone is busy, leave your email. I called. The recording said the wait was 30 minutes. I held for 27 minutes. I got another recording saying to call again, press 1 to leave a callback number. It didn't work. I was initially going to get them to just reroute my website. I want away from this company, but I can't reach anyone to get an authorization code. Do not consider this company for anything. I am so unhappy I was not given a choice. They have the nerve to bill me. I feel like my domain is being held hostage.
Exact hosting are sending me bills for a service which I have already paid my current supplier for.I have had a website with Webs for the past ten years and repaid my subscription in November 2022 Webs Told me that all accounts would shortly be transferred to Vistaprint as vistaprint had bought out Webs , ...I was also told that transfers would be seamless without interruption.Exact hosting now claim to have bought out my Domain and email addresses and threaten that unless I pay 200$ I will be cut off on the 31st August This gives me no time to remedy the problem with Webs or Vistaprint , All I get form exact hosting is off the shelf replies , which do not answer the questions I have asked .
Exact bought my previous supplier. Had problems from start. Can't access the account to change the dns to redirect to where my website is hosted. After numerous emails Exact still has not resolved the issue to give me access. I'm paying for nothing.
Was a reseller customer Quality Hosting Online for many years, seems like they were acquired by Exact Hosting. Saw straight away that our monthly bill increased by more than 30% when new billing came, we contacted support to point out the issue and explained our previous billing; but got a reply more ir less saying that “this is how we bill…and we don’t really care about your previous relationship with us”! Will move all accounts!!
5/2/23 Exact Hosting Email Server has been down for almost 24 hours and with no ETA. As a small business owner in service industry this is killing my business. In the past their server goes down for maybe 1 to 2 hours. As soon as it is back up and I looking to switch to new company. Do not waste your time with this company
Exact bought out my previous provider, over 300 hosted accounts, support was non-existent, they then chose to migrate my accounts to a "new" server. This "new" server was obviously not new and had a horrible IP reputation, causing virtually all emails to be rejected because of block lists..this went on ofr over 2 weeks and was never resolved, until I moved my accounts elsewhere.. WORST support on the planet, with responses taking upwards of 3 day, if you were lucky enough to even get a response. Support techs were also not honest, one told me she had requested a domain be unblocked 2 days before I even requested it...STAY AWAY FROM EXACT HOSTING!
