Review Time
My long-time hosting company sold to them beginning of 2024 and we have had nothing but trouble, miscommunication and dodges. On posted tickets, only receive a response part of the time. Chat seems to be focused on getting rid of you instead of solving the problem. Don't even try to call, if you can even find the number, unless you have time to be on hold for a long. long time. Just because something is running well today, doesn't mean tomorrow won't bring disaster. There is no sense of urgency when a site is down, or email doesn't work, etc.
Thoroughly agree with message on from Mark Denton on Nov 3rd and other messages earlier. Exact hosting deserve a minus 10 rating for as many bad points as possible.Exact hosting took down and destroyed my website without even telling me or giving me any warning what so ever. It is effecting my business. I am a small sole trader who offers therapy and being told to build a whole new website is devastating.The support system on exact hosting was non existent and impossible to find, access or understand. Many emails sent were not answered. The only email answered occurred while I was on an expensive call from UK to Dave Panty in Canada. He promised more answers and help but I am still waiting. It felt like a fluke that i even spoke to him as he said he had not been in for 2 days.No responses were given as to how I will rebuild and pay for a new website to be assembled.I see exact hosting is up for sale. Do not buy or go any where near this company with its no can do, brick wall, do not care attitudes.
I ended up with Exacthosting after they acquired qualityhostonline. This is the worst possible experience. Their support answers after 6 or 7 days (yes, days not hours) with a completely useless answer, indicating total incompetence.
If I could leave less stars I would !!! I was lumbered with Exact Hosting when VistaPrint decided to stop supplying websites & email hosting, No consultation no nothing just Vistaprint playing god !Exact have been worse than useless ever since, Customer support is non existent and when you do spend hours waiting on live chat you get through to someone and it’s like talking to a brick wall.They are trying to overcharge me for mailboxes and are very reluctant to help, A week now all my domain email accounts have been down and I’m still no closer to getting a resolve from these clowns !I would seriously AVOID this company
Since they took over from Webs.com they have been harassing me with invoices for a site I canceled at Webs.com. I received a confirmation email the site was closed in August but they still continue the harassing with overdue invoices. They are terrible.
Wow. Vistaprint sent my email account to Exact Hosting. What a disaster. I had no email for 3 days and when I tried calling, after 25 minutes holding each time, I got disconnected. At least 5-6 emails to the help email address went unanswered, chat never responded - and my company could neither send or receive emails. BUT when I clicked on "cancel my account" yep - I got a response right away. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
