Booked online for puncture repair, all good no issues paid the £22. Arrived at the centre in Birkenhead, Wirral and the staff member says 'I cannot fit you in today ' error what ! The online booking system does not know what cars are booked in the center! Well don't offer online booking then! I would understand if there was cars out of the door but not one single car in the bays or the carpark. Absolutely shocking service to be fair and I will avoid going forward, a shame as I use the chester branch often and thought the new site in Birkenhead would offer the same level of service but obviously not
I highly recommend the Birkenhead branch, they did a perfect job with professional, knowledgeable customer service, got my car back same day.
The interest free pay in 4 option was a lifesaver.
Thank you all so much.
Was booked by RAC as tyres covered. Arrived at the booked in time the car sat on the forecourt for over a hour ! There are no staff hardly , the arrival wait at reception poor. Not manned!
I would never choose this place if you want to spend half a day sitting in a cold room waiting for 1 tyre to be fitted despite having pre booked! Then be my guest. If you have a life and have other things to do AVOID
The only issue I found that I wasn't able to change my vehicle tyre size, when I tried to edit. on your system GU20KMX said 225/55/19 but my tyres are 205/55/19. So had to go in via Tyre size, other than that great.
Beware.
Formula one auto centre Crewe.
Two of my cars gone from bad to worst after they claimed it was serviced.
First car, MOT was passed without any adversaries sorted, found the same adversary the next year.
Second one, I started having rattling problems just after service.
I will never go there again.
Super friendly, goes over and beyond and very welcoming. Found my new garage locally to be so competitive and nothing is a problem approach
Been twice in last few days for suspension work, alignment and wheel balancing.
Brand new building and everything, amazing waiting area and the store manager Matt @ Bishop Auckland is a credit to the business.
Recommend 5/5.
I’ve had to come and get my car wheel changed Formula One auto Centre orpington the guys in there were lovely but the prices of their tyres are absolutely ridiculous. They literally have robbed me for one little tire for my mini Cooper. Would I come back in? No would I suggest anyone comes here? No not for their tyres but for the guys are lovely The price of the tyres are ridiculous. 🤦🏼♀️🤷♀️
I paid over £1,113 for a catalytic converter replacement at Formula One, and the engine management light continued to come on immediately afterwards. Every time I returned, I was given a different explanation and told it was “absolutely fine” and nothing to worry about. An independent garage has now confirmed that the catalytic converter fitted is faulty and needs replacing. When I raised this with them, I was told the part is out of warranty and that it’s now my problem — and that there is “no proof” I ever brought the car back, despite several visits.
This is extremely poor customer service and a complete lack of accountability. I now have a car I cannot sell, my son can no longer use for his driving test and I face another large bill to fix something I already paid Formula One to do - if they did actually replace the part at all. I also felt dismissed and taken advantage of, particularly as a woman. Very disappointing from a business that claims to be reputable and family-run.
Booked a puncture repair and arrived on the day for the pm slot given. No booking recorded. The online system took payment without booking at the branch. This possible fraudulent overbooking and taking of payment is because the online system is not a booking and the branch says you need to phone.
The system is incorrectly set up to overbook the site and not honour the contract created when payment is taken.
I took my car here for an MOT and it was failed with an extensive list of “major” and “minor” faults. I was then quoted £1,500 to repair the major items and authorised the work.
The very next day I was contacted and told they could not carry out the repairs because they do not have the required tools. This is beyond unacceptable. No competent garage should fail a vehicle, quote a large sum of money, and then admit they are not equipped to do the work.
This caused a complete waste of time, unnecessary stress, and left me scrambling to find another garage. It seriously calls into question the professionalism and reliability of this business.
I would strongly advise others to think very carefully before using this garage
