AMAZING DRESS!! I am absolutely in love with this dress. The quality is amazing, it looks so luxurious and fancy. The material is a silky organza and very soft and also does not wrinkle easily. I am 5’6” and 120 lbs I ordered the dress in an XS and the corset in an XXXS, I’ll be honest I got these sizes because they were the last left and I was pretty sure they would work. Luckily yes they did!! The corset has a lot of give with the strings but it’s definitely snug. But good for me since I don’t have much happening up top. 😆 The dress fits great too but without a corset I would need something to keep the top from gaping. I think my true size is an XXS and when I order again, that’s what I’ll get. The shipping was very fast. I feel the dress was worth every penny and I know I’ll be getting a lot of use out of it this year! I have a lot of book conventions to attend and they all have balls to dress up for! Also doesn’t everyone deserve a beautiful ballgown!? Seriously let’s make this a thing! I want to play dress up every day now. 😆
This was my first time purchasing a dress overseas, so I was slightly concerned about shipping. But I shouldn't have! Maria was so helpful and understanding throughout the shipment. There was a mix-up with the order, but everything still arrived in time for my honeymoon. Maria and her team made sure of it!
The dress is absolutely stunning. I ordered a size up, and as expected, it was a little too big, but that was the point. I wanted to tailor it myself before the event. Now I have a gorgeous dress that I'm excited to surprise my husband with!

I’ve bought two dresses from Fanciful Doll and both purchases have been positive experiences with dresses that I absolutely LOVE! The customer service with the owner has been great with all my questions. She’s always gotten back to me right away, being very friendly & helpful. I’ve used these dresses for various fantasy costume events and absolutely love everything about them! Highly recommend!
I bought a dress and a corset for $650. I was expecting much better quality. You can immediately tell that the dresses are made in China. The dress feels like plastic, and the clasp is very cheap. it honestly feels like it could rip off at any moment.Also, if you are curvy (I bought size XXL) and have a large bust (mine is 85–95, cup G–H, European size), I do not recommend buying their dresses. They compress the chest, make it look bad, and are very uncomfortable.On top of that, because I ordered the dress from the UK to the European Union, I had to pay $250 in VAT. That means I spent about $900 on a plastic dress. It is absolutely not worth it.If you want a dress like this, you are much better off going to a tailor and having one made to your measurements.
The dresses are so much more beautiful in person, and the craftsmanship is amazing! I didn't know a dress could make you feel that beautiful. The fabric is beautiful, and whenever I wear them Im surrounded by smiling faces, because people can't help but smile when they see them. When you see the quality, the price seemed more than reasonable, and they have never once disappointed me. My husband accidentally stepped on my dress and I went lurching forward. I was sure that force would have torn the skirt off, but the seam didn't even budge. The dresses will last a lifetime. The customer service is incredible. I emailed and asked if the off-the - shoulder sleeves could be worn up on a dress, and they said they aren't meant to be worn up, but here's a pictures of what it would look like if you did. My mind was blown that they would take the step to send photos. I emailed asking for pics of a plus size model in any dress with underwire cups, which weren't on the website. Again they sent pics. When their sizing changed, they emailed me saying that they checked the size of my previous order and noticed that I ordered a size up, and wanted to make sure I intended to do that (I had meant to order a size down but got confused by the new sizing). Also, they contacted me once saying they found an small mistake in the print on my dress when packing it up, and it was the last dress in my size. The "mistake" was so small I never would have noticed it on my own. I mean, in these days who has people quality checking dresses when they ship them? I have never had customer service of this quality before.
I could spend all day singing praises for Fanciful Doll. I am planning my wedding and made the easiest choice to go with Fanciful Dolls for my own gown as well as my bridesmaids. The customer service is truly high class. I had all sorts of questions and requests, and Fanicful Doll stepped up to ensure every last one of them was satisfied! The quality doesn't stop at the customer service either. When I say my little sister wearing the Once Upon a Stargazer gown, I was blown away at how MAGNIFICENT she looked. Fanciful Doll truly made me feel valued and appreciated. I would absolutely recommend them to any bride, bridesmaid, or anyone who wants to feel like a fairytale goddess!
I received my dress yesterday. And I am absolutely blown away. I can now look like one of my favourite characters - Scarlett O Hara. I love the fanciful Dol brand as it is very unique. I have never followed trends so this is my idea of heaven. Keep up the good work💜
I bought a yellow and a pink dress. And I am so disappointed. Both dresses were so plasticky and not up to my expectations. They are insanely expensive and are made in China and you can tell they are made in China. Unfortunately, they made a big cut on my order because these dresses cost a total of 7,000 SEK and I had to pay customs and VAT too, so it came to a total of 10,000 SEK. Insanely expensive and not worth the money. Buy somewhere else.plus the fact that your size guide is not correct and that the two dresses that are the same size from your company have such a big difference in size is so strange.I also think they bought their reviews on trustpilet because they don't have 3s or 4s, but either 1s, 2s and a lot of 5s. STRANGE
