The product is a complete joke! The worst part of it is even if you are not satisfied they don’t accept return and they will not refund you. So unfortunately you are stuck and tricked to pay so much money for nothing really…. If I could give zero stars I would….
I had a similar experience to many on here. Item was "dispatched" but tracking never updated. After 5 days I contacted to ask to cancel my order, but was told it cannot be calcelled as its "shipped" (tracking info still said waiting for details). After another week or so, still no delivary, still not tracking update. This made me question the general compliance and safety of the item. Clarly they come directly from China looking at the currier serive they chose. I asked for another update and put some questions to them about manufacuting location, factory competance and product compliance, but got no reply. Still, after 1 month, nothing has arrived. To be honest, I am glad, as i feel its likely cheap and dangerous probably using artificial chemcial flavourings rather than cleanly extracted essential oils. Eventually PayPal refunded me, no tanks to the HÜM scammer team. I would advise to avoid. I placed an order with FÜM instead. More expensive, but vastly superior. It arrived THE NEXT DAY. FÜM know how to oporate.
Absolutely useless..I used to smoke menthol cigarettes and then menthol vapes 0.6 mg nicotine so it made sense to swap to HÜM..First of , all that stainless steal mouthpiece is just so not sits with me.Its cold and heavy on the lip..Secondly, you need to suck really hard to feel any flavour coming out..I fiddled with it for an hour or two, but fed up as it’s useless and made me go back to my vape..Don’t buy it, however says otherwise is paid by the company.Fact
Honestly, where do I start. So the product itself is literally a metal straw. That’s it. And like a fool, I spent £65 on it. But the 30 day guarantee made me feel better about the purchase so I got it. Anyway it arrives and becomes clear that it’s just a metal tube so I asked to return it. They refused for the first 30 days so I’d get the full use of the 30 days, despite me reiterating that it was awful and I didn’t want it. So 30 days rolls round, and I get to return it. The return address is in France. Tracked delivery required. At cost of the buyer. It arrives, customs fees payable. Hüm insist they’re not due because it’s a return and that they’d deal with it. They then rejected the delivery attempt and it’s been sat at a postal office for 15 days. Now I’m being ghosted. Granted, it’s not a huge amount of money but I’m now without the money and the product. Awful company and worse item.
I ordered the device on the condition I could return it. Don’t be fooled if this is what makes your decision. The device mouth piece is made of metal and tastes exactly of that. It’s disgusting! When I emailed they said I can’t return until my 30 days is up. I couldn’t keep trying as they advised, as it made me feel sick. Once I got to my 30 days they said I had to return the device to France at my own cost (£25). Any they would deduct the cost of any open sachets even though they came with the device. They also said they may add a cleaning charge which they did not disclose what that was. I could potentially be having pennies returned to me. DO NOT TRUST these people!
Misleading ‘flash sale’ on the starter pack.Watched the ‘flash sale’ countdown clock run down to zero and then magically reset to 23:59:59.This is against ASA rulings and will be reported if you don’t fix it.Starter pack average, only slightly better than the devices sold on Amazon (with next day delivery) instead of waiting a fortnight to ship from China.Price of replacement flavour cores are DOUBLE the price for the same, again on Amazon (identical products, slightly less range on Amazon though).Do you research and perhaps don’t support a business that breaches ASA rulings about flash sales.
SCAM COMPANY!! After receiving I knew the product was not satisfactory. The cores smell strong but when you use the device it’s very faint, barely could taste it. I tried to return after trying to give it a go and was refused a refund until the trial period was over. Once it was over I returned, following their guidance of it needing to be clean I gave it a good clean but the they charged me for the FREE cleaning kit even though I had to use it to clean it and therefore it was dirty and not able to be included in the box. I then was deducted for the FREE cores (free means not chargeable and cannot charge at a later date if deemed free) most were returned anyway as I knew the product wasn’t for me and advised on the website to seem to be a simple worry free refund process. The device was not good, not worth the money and the customer service is dreadful and patronising. Honestly better to quit without this device, it’s literally a waste of money. The customer service have an answer for everything and aren’t able to take responsibility for the disappointing product, do not have any customer care skills and quite frankly are a scam product. Wish I had read the reviews properly, avoid at all costs!! Their refund policy is diabolical and contradictory to itself. Please just avoid at all costs. If you want to try it just take a straw outside and inhale, it will be exactly the same!
After giving Hüm a proper try, I’ve come away disappointed overall. The device is well made — solid, nicely finished, and comfortable to use — but the price feels hard to justify when you consider it’s manufactured in China and likely costs no more than £5–10 to produce a medium order QTY and sub £5 for a high order QTY. On top of that, delivery takes far longer than expected because it’s coming from overseas, again, China. The real let-down is the spice sticks. The flavours are extremely weak, borderline non-existent, and they don’t provide any kind of kick or satisfying sensation. For something that’s marketed as a flavour-based alternative, that’s a huge miss. Given how much the refills cost, it left me feeling very short-changed.The only genuine positive is that it can help curb the urge to reach for an actual vape, simply because it keeps your hands and mouth busy. But honestly, I’d have been just as well off using a straw — the inserts are so faint it’s basically like inhaling plain air.Overall, Hüm is a well-made device let down by overpriced, underpowered inserts and slow delivery. The quality of the flavour just doesn’t match the premium price tag.
