The engineer they sent was Dave to give my boiler an annual service. It's the first time I've used ferroli but I definitely will in the future as it's the first time I seen the boiler cleaned up in such a way with pride and actually taking things apart. I asked the engineer if he didn't mind me watching and found him very chatty and he talked me through the process of what he was doing.
Hi, I have a question about my Ferroli 28 kW boiler.
The flame symbol turns on and the boiler starts by itself several times a day and night, even when the tap is closed and the heating is off. I’ve set both hot water and heating to 50 °C, but the temperature keeps rising on its own.
The boiler is new (about 3 months old) and this only started 4–5 days ago. It didn’t do this before. I called technical support and was told this is normal, but my trusted technician says it isn’t.
Could you please confirm whether this behavior is actually normal under these conditions?

Overall my boiler is great but can you tell me why in the colder months my hot water is not that hot. If I run a bath I have to add 2 kettles of boiling water. Had it looked at 2 years ago and nothing was wrong. The water temp is at 55 which is the max. In the summer it’s hot but not winter

Stay away from this company as there engineers are a absolute disgrace. We had a boiler service booked for today by our landlord. The Ferroli engineer showed up at the back garden gate and called the landlord to tell us to open the gate. I open the gate and asked him to drive around to the front door what he declined. I asked him 3 times to drive around and come to the front door but he claimed he must go several times back to his van and therefore he needs to go through our garden. He completely ignored when I told him that from the front door he has straight access to the boiler without walking through other rooms, which he would have when coming through the back garden. At the end he drove away and I found out through my landlord, that he claimed to his office I would have been aggressive towards him what is absolutely not true. To give you a full picture about this company, the last Ferroli engineer who visited before him, had a discussion with my wife why not to wear blue shoes and at the end left a trail of dog poo on our hallway carpet. Worst company staff we had to deal with in decades.Update to reply from Ferroli Customer Service:It's just unbelievable how the Ferroli customer service team bends the reality in their response. Firstly, he was not met with hostility but refused 3 times to enter through the front door based on the fact, that the route through the garden is neither the safest nor the direct to the boiler. Both, the safest and direct way would have been through the front door. But obviously does the Ferroli customer team knows the layout of our home better then us. That's just so pathetic!!!That the engineer got accidentally locked in the garden for a very short time was based on the fact, that he should not even been there in first place. If he he would have followed our simple request to enter the house through the front door it would never happened. He still could have come to the kitchen door where wife was present instead of calling the landlord. It's absolutely not logical.Dear Ferroli customer service team, please can you explain how an engineer refuses 3 times to come through the front door and claiming it's not the safest route to the boiler not even knowing where the boiler is?I'm really looking forward to your answer.

Sakibur obtaining information from me about my faulty boiler and giving great assistance, then passed me onto Dean, who was very patient in guiding me through the steps to get my boiler working again. MY FERROLI BLUETECK BOILER IS ON ITS 5TH YEAR OF WARRANTY I RANG THEM UP ON A THURSDAY AFTERNOON TO TELL THEM MY BOILER WAS BROKEN A VERY NICE GENTLE MAN TOOK MY SERVICE DETAILS AND SIAD SOME ONE WOULD BE IN TOUCH WITHIN 24 HOURSE NO ONE CONTACTED ME OVER THE WEEK END BUTT A LOVELY YOUNG LADY RANG ME EARLY ON MONDAY MORNING TO TO SAY THE ENGINEER WILL BE WITH ME THE NEXT DAY AND HE WAS, HE ASKED A FEW QUESTIONS AND STRAIT AWAY HE SAID OK I KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS DIDNT SCRATCH IS HEAD OR UMED HE WENT STRAIT TO IS VAN BROUGHT IN A NEW PUMP AND THAT WAS IT VERY IMPRESSED WITH ENGINEER WELL DONE THE ONLY THING WAS I DID AFTO WAIT UNTILL TUESDAY IF THEY HAD COME WITHIN 48 HRS I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS BUT I CAN ONLY GIVE FOUR STARS FOR THAT REASON, BUT OVERALL IAM WELL PLEASED
