I really want to like this thing but what would you say in my shoes? It arrived two days after I left for work which wasn't really their fault but I didn't get a chance to use it until I got back a week and a half later. I haven't been able to connect it since I got it save for twice and the lights that said it's recording weren't lit up or anything so I didn't even realize that it was catching my day. But because of that day, most of my hour and a half 'free' time was used up, apparently, so I don't know what I have left as far as transcribes go.
And being bullied or rushed into a membership really wasn't the ideal of how I wanted to go with this. I was planning to get the full membership anyways but with this thing not working I wasn't going to take your 'first and only' offer to a deal on a membership. Just to try and connect it, I bypassed the 'special' deal and did what I could to get the unit and my account, connected. It's been a mess from the beginning and, needless to say, it's been over their 14 day return. (Probably been about a month since I've had this paperweight and first tried to connect it.) Very unimpressed at being told two or three times that I 'just have to reset my bluetooth connection...' That's a pretty simple fix which I've done numerous times now. Had I known it was still at such an early test stage, I would have just asked for a refund. Or, at least, a new unit seeing as how this hasn't worked from the git.
But i'm done with companies nickel and diming me to death... pay my own shipping and handling? to get a functional unit to start with...? Pffft.
It's not the money... It's the point of the thing.
Anyways, that's my experience.

Keeping this little bugger connected to my Android phone. Samsung s twenty five plus for reference, has been nothing but a nightmare. Multiple times a day, I need to reset my device in order for my phone to find the d*** thing. I've sent requests to the support team and all I get is references to the steps for resetting my device. So now all I do is have to reset the thing day in Day Out.

I've had it for several months now. With each firmware update I hope it's finally going to work. Always disappointed.

And when it works, I don't like the fact that it only produces a PDF output. It doesn't allow me to edit the summaries into something more usable or relevant for my application. Sure I can copy and paste into a word document, but then I have to do all that the reform matting.

Only reason I give it a 2* is that the summaries can be good overall. But not being able to edit makes me feel 2* is generous.

Functions as Promised

Functions as promised. A subscription is necessary for the premium features and unlimited transcriptions, but I believe it's worth the investment. Essentially, you are paying for technology that records everything you say. Quite ironic.

I was surprised to discover that a subscription is required for adequate transcription time, which was disappointing (this wasn’t mentioned in the advertisement). Even at $140 a year, having only 24 hours a month seems quite limited. The accuracy was also lower than expected, with only about 60% of the words being correct. Overall, I would rate it a 6 out of 10.
