Review Time
Before buying my first item from Filson, I had read some reviews that claimed that because they were now sourcing many of their products from outside the USA, that quality had diminished. However, I can safely say that is far from the truth. Every item that I have purchased has been of exceptional quality and style. So much so, they are now my go-to outfitter for casual workwear.
I purchased an Insulated Short Cruiser and discovered a manufacturing defect/quality control failure.I reported this to Filson EU on January 25th with detailed photos and immediately received an automated acknowledgment from "Mike" stating the case was being "escalated," but I have been met with total silence since then, even after asking for an update.
You reduced the item by a further 10% the day I bought it. I contacted you to stop the shipment. You said you'd try but then you ignored all subsequent emails and cost me £15 in return shipping. Not impressed!
The entire process was good and the products are very nice.I declined at the end as I do not agree to pay the big difference to the USA prices. This is simply not in order.I can ask a friend in the US to purchase for me the goods I want and he sends it with UPS/DHL across and I save more then US$200? for a product e.g. "24hrs bag" That is not a good deal.Kind regards,Kai Pahnke
