The warranty is fantastic

The warranty is fantastic - I had a problem with the water filter and they fixed it 5 years on. No fuss and a very knowledgeable technician Adam Smith who was efficient and went above and beyond to sort the problem.

I have tried to book a service for my F&P dishwasher.For over 60 mins i have tried the online booking systems, their 0800 contact no. and their 'chat with us'.Nothing works. Shocking!In the past we could ring a uk no. book an engineer not anymore.

I contact Fisher Paykel on the 11/11/25…

I contact Fisher Paykel on the 11/11/25 to booked an engineer to attend my home to repair my fridge freeze. when i booked my appointment Fisher & Paykel requested the model and serial number, which i supplied via email on the 13/11/25 via an attached picture of the ident label which had all the required information on.The Fisher Paykel engineer attended my home on the 20/11/25. The engineer new nothing about the information supplied and within 10 minutes of being there told me the compressor was fault and all parts for this model of fridge freezer are discontinued, so there is nothing he can do. I then had to pay the £195 call out fee.I feel i have been take advantage of me as i supplied the required information of the serial number and model number nearly 2 weeks before the engineer attended. If the supplied information was sent to the engineer and checked before attending my home Fisher Paykel could have informed me all parts are discontinued and given me the opportunity to cancel the home visit. This would have saved me £195. The engineer did offer me a £250 discount on another fridge freezer but i feel this is irrelevant.I believe this home visit should have never taken place and i am paying for an internal mistake by Fisher Paykel by not informing me that parts are now discontinued.

Warranty call. Dean, the Engineer, arrived on time and was very efficient & courteous. He talked me through, in a very structured way, the potential reasons why the ice-maker may be working intermittently.Problem was detected & sorted very quickly - happy customer.Highly recommended!
