Shocked. Horrible photos people put on here marked 'safe'…

Horrible photos people put on here about people in difficulty, racism, posts relating to Governments and other nationalities, kids and young people, it's horrible. I am an ordinary person who tried this platform to get help from charities/UK Gov and I am blocked by Flickr. The more sinister you are the more their "team" help you. They will not assist me despite multiple communications with them. I am not a criminal or anyone to be blocked. I am postgraduate qualified person with national and international contacts I cannot reach through any social media platform inc Flickr FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER. I urge them to justify (a) why they allow such weird and controversial material (b) why they mark it as 'safe' and (c) why I, as an ordinary person, cannot seek assistance through this platform. Perhaps it's a counterfeit site. I used to use it when I taught in the arts and it was fine. I cannot find any of my contacts on it. Please respond. Thank you.

I have had a Flicker account since…

I have had a Flicker account since 2016. Recently I got a reprimand for an honest opinion about an awful photo, it turns out that the company's policy makes it possible to lie about terrible photos only to keep users in the belief that they are the best in the world, thus persuading them to PRO subscription. Examples of discrimination for ordinary users: limiting the size of the displayed photo, limiting the number of images to 1000, restrictions for Groups ... it is certainly not worth buying

Terrible company

Terrible companyMy account of 10 years with photos has been cancelled without any explanation and they have deleted the photos without giving me time to recover them and I had paid the annual fee until June 2023 with no right to a refund.

Flickr take your photos hostage and in…

Flickr take your photos hostage and in my case they tell me that i have 1888 photos non- public but no matter how many times i count i can only get 76 photos. Maybe they also incl. my private photos on my Ipad???? If i dont reduce the number till 50 photo non-public or pay 6.99$/month they “are soon going delete my account”But how can i reduce from 1888 to 50 photos when i only have 76, i have reduced from 76 to 50 but they want me to do it from 1888??? One star is one to many but can only give less!

Worst photo site ever

Worst photo site ever. Frequent "bad bad panda" outages.Extort money to allow you to keep photos stored on site then ban you without warning for storing images that are not your own. They are, some are missing exif data because I scanned from 35mm negatives. No refund of my pro subscription, no right to appeal. Truly dreadful way to treat customers.Legit* theft

Imagine that you are a hobbyist who used this site to upload several of 1000 of photos for your sport club. All of a sudden they give you an ultimatum: pay us or we will remove your photos. What a great way to treat your customers... Never again will I use Flickr.

Money, money, money…

I have used Flickr for many years and it has slowly turned into a super slots cash machine with little winnings. When it went from a whole Tb to 1000 photos that was dire enough. Then it changed to only 50 photos maximum can be in the public domain. The poor rating in general show how people has lost confidence in Flickr. The price tag to go pro is way too much when one can just store data elsewhere for pennies. I think people need to look around to see what suits their needs better.

It is getting worse and worse since…

It is getting worse and worse since yahoo sold it. I am getting tired of these emails concerning that they claim i have more nonpublic photos than what they allowing. I don't, but they are keep sending these emails. I don't even use flickr anymore, it used to be useful and good, but now it is a mess.
