I was very disappointed when I went to flight centre ealing.After seeing TV commercials and visiting the stand at the Holiday and Travel Show. Despite the name, I was made to understand that The Flight Centre is also a general travel agent.Being an experienced cruiser, I was hoping to book 3 cruises in including flights . As I am in ealing almost every day, I was hoping to book local so I could see a friendly face instead of going online.The way it works is you book your cruise on board and then they transfer the booking to your preffered Travel Agent. This means FC would get the business or commission for three cruises without lifting a finger.The lady I spoke to said she had only booked one cruise and didn't really know how it worked.At this point, I didn't feel she was interested. She said she would need to speak to her manager or supervisor.She said she had a meeting, but I had to prompt her to take my details.I doesn't surprise me that no-one contacted me at all in the four weeks since my visit.If someone does reply to this feedback. Please let me know why you don't need cruise business. Then I can explain to my friends and we won't waste your time.
