WARNING HIDDEN FEES BEWARE .Any hotel that you book on this site that states flexible cancellation. And states clearly free cancellation. and states clearly RefundableIs a fraud. Customer agent Porni from flybuys Threatened me with a $55 dollar fine and also stated she was also confiscating my points because I cancelled my hotel booking. My booking clearly stated it was free cancellation. At no point ever did it state any fee. On my contract it stated fully refundable. I advise anyone booking to be very aware of this . If it happens to you You should immediately contact Consumer afairs as It is a breach of your consumer rights. Customer service agent Porni is extemly rude and belligerent. I was left shaken from my experience . We all have to make changes to bookings from time to time . If we have made bookings that state they are refundable and are free cancellation as Australian consumers we have the legal right to do so
I have requested for a voucher after redeeming the points. It has been about a month and its still not here. Where are you sending it from? Mars? Which end from in Australia it take one month to delivery an envelope? Besides no tracking details available. This is the first time I redeemed something and it is so disappointed.
My recent experience with Flybuys' Broadsheet Gift Card program was nothing short of frustrating. Despite selecting the card based on advertised promises of usability at various venues, it consistently failed to work at multiple locations. When seeking assistance, customer service responses were dismissive and offered no resolution. Flybuys' misleading advertising and lack of accountability have left me thoroughly disappointed and questioning their integrity.
My Flybuys account was closed due to inactivity. However, it was reinstated, and I've tried to set my password via the lost password link, but no email with instructions for setting my password has arrived (and I have checked SPAM as well). Customer Service said that they couldn't do a manual reset via email (even though it was the email on my account). So I tried ringing and was given two choices - enter details via SMS or leave a voicemail. The SMS just directed me to the password reset process, which had already failed. The voicemail process informed me it would take 10 days to get back to me. In both scenarios, I had to enter personal information into a faceless system. There was no means of actually talking to a person. I then contacted customer service once more, reporting my issues with their automated phone service and AGAIN, they told me to ring them between Monday to Friday from 9am to 7pm Australian Eastern Time. Except I had already rung between those times on several occasions.
I had a temporary card that I was collecting points on for several months before signing up - I finally got around to doing this online and found that I was unable to do so and was instead issued with a new account and zero points. The cutomer service centre was pretty unhelpful so I asked them to delete my accounts and data. If it's this painful to sign up then I can't imagine trying to actually claim and use earned points. Definitely better rewards programs out there.
Spent an hour on the phone for a missing points enquiry with No resolution.Dealt with the worst customer service agent named Louisa. She had poor communication skills, was rude and argumentative - the Worst person I've ever dealt with after years of calling Flybuys representatives.The computer system definitely need an upgrade too.
I made a purchase for more than 120 dollars but I scanned the wrong couponI called flybuys people to help and adjust the coupon number so I can get 1250 flybuys points The representative told me we adjusted your points once this year . The system does not allow us to do it twice a year . It is a very disappointing service. It has been happening for years. for God’s sake , offer a more convenient customer service Every time I call flybuys people I am sorry we can not do this we can do that Why are you there for ?
