I've been working alongside Flyp for about a year now. For this review to be has helpful as possible, I'll be completely candid, I knew of Flyp as a concept before I'd fully started working with them. I truly didn't think they were up to much and couldn't see how they would benefit me or our operations as a property professional.I was incredibly dubious, but Jonty at Flyp collared me one day and gave me an overview of all their services. Since then, credit to Jonty, it has been another arm to our business, and our account has really taken off.It's not for every one, I get that, but having a contact like Flyp as an agent is so useful. They really help with properties we've struggled to shift because of it being vacant/empty. Sometimes, as we know, vacant properties struggle to captivate imagination. Virtual staging can only get you so far, and actual staging can be so expensive, plus you don't really want the client to do a cheap Ikea run to improve things.Having Flyp kit out the property with furniture has helped no end to a lot of our listings that really needed it.We've also started to recommend them, on the development side which has been very helpful. They help bridge the gap on clients expectations. You see a lot in London that clients tend to want to achieve X but their property is only worth Y, and in most cases the client can't afford the works themselves to make the property the amount they're after, or maybe even lack the vision. By having Flyp as a recommendation it's helped a few of clients now uplift the property with their team, with little effort from the client. Again, I appreciate some clients say it's not for them, but I'd always recommend someone speak to Flyp to assess their options. As most of the time they come back round to using them
AVOID AT ALL COSTSDo not use this company. They have actively lost me potential buyers by failing to maintain the property in saleable state (overflowing bins, water leak in the living room which was not dealt with, tenants not aware of viewings etc). Their contractors quote very high costs for simply issues. They do not liaise with estate agents or owners.Initial costings are not realistic and not are not based on property experts - my agreed sale price is significantly under the sale price that Flyp stated was the sale price BEFORE works. And I have only managed to sell the property by liaising with estate agents myself and even having to do work on the property myself. Essentially all Flyp works have simply cost me moneyThey have caused me untold stress in failing to communicate, losing my buyers and now refusing to end the contract.I should also note that I have seen at least 2 negatives reviews be posted and then removed - I don't know how Flyp is arranging for these to be removed.
We used Flyp to maximise the market we could appeal to when selling our London house - and therefore maximise the price. Flyp's links with multiple agents proved invaluable - within two weeks we were receiving best and final offers well over the asking price. The agents who introduced our final buyer, Acorn in Camberwell, were brilliant, but we would probably not have selected them had we gone down a single agent route. The Flyp team, Lee especially, had our backs right through what proved at times a tricky process, and it was great to be able to consult with him on how to handle the twists and turns. We agreed a fee structure designed to incentivise agents to achieve the best possible price, and although this cost us more in fees, it more than paid off as the eventual price was well above asking, and even above the "optimistic" price we'd estimated ourselves. The only downside was that some of the admin around the early stages eg photography, was a bit hit and miss, which knocked our confidence in using this innovative platform. When we flagged this, the problems were very quickly resolved and we had an excellent experience from then on. Many thanks to the whole team! We would definitely use Flyp again, and have already recommended to friends.
I recently hired Flyp to refurbish my property in preparation for selling, and I must say, my experience has been quite disappointing. While I had high hopes for their service, I found the communication to be lacking, which made the entire process frustrating.They rented the property out whilst it was on the market they charged me a 40% management fee which is never clearly stated before contracts are signed. If any problems occurred in the property they charged ridiculous amounts to fix. For example the toilet was blocked from someone they rented to, it leaked to the downstairs. They charged me £850 to unblock a toilet then I had to pay for the ceiling in the below flat to be painted as they wouldn’t take responsibility.From the start, it was difficult to get clear updates on the progress of the work.When I did manage to reach out, responses were slow and sometimes vague, leaving me more confused than informed. I was told the furniture was mine to keep numerous times kind of making the high price tag more acceptable but obviously that wasn’t the case once you read the small print.Additionally, I was shocked by the amount I was charged for the work that was completed. The quality and extent of the refurbishment did not match the hefty price tag. I expected a more substantial transformation for what I paid, but it felt like minimal effort was put into the project.I have lost a lot of money using this company they are still chasing me for a small amount if money I refuse to pay even though they have had over 15k from me, for a refurbishment that my 94 year old Nan could do better. I tried to reason and come to solution but it is all one way, just money hungry.Overall, I would not recommend Flyp if you're looking for reliable communication and value for your investment. It’s disappointing to see such potential wasted, and I regret choosing them for my property refurbishment.I had to redo most of the work, so it cost me double please be careful before instructing this company.

I've tried other agency before them and i wasted my time and money.Flyp has made the sale of my flat very easy going. They are quick responding, their web of agents is huge and worth work with them to have your flat sold to the best bidder thanks to have it open to many agencies and not just one.You don't have to be going to any office, and their "app" is always up to date and you can choose which dates are open for viewings, see comments on viewings made, info regarding any proposal.... they are very complete.I highly recommend using Flyp for your transactions, they will not disappoint you
The team at Flyp are world class. They went the extra mile for me and did a superb job. I was delighted with the outcome and sold my house at a price much higher than I thought possible - this was due to the incredible job Flyp did. Thank you guys. Just brilliant.
