Applied 2 weeks ago. Initial application and website said up to 5 days for decision. No further information, no decision yet. If I didn’t know better, I would have assumed I got scammed with a hard check on my credit report.
I don’t know if the card is good as not received anything, but this excessive wait renders the reason I wanted to get the card (0% apr for a larger spend) less and less feasible. With other reports of waiting upwards of a few months, this is deeply inappropriate.

Would seriously advise people to NOT apply for this card, there are many other available alternatives.
2 stars only because the customer representative I spoke to was nice and told me the application was indeed received and pending (if the credit rating drop due to the hard check was not evidence enough already).

It is extremely unwieldy and user unfriendly .

Disappointing Experience with Customer Service

I have previously addressed this issue, but unfortunately, nothing has improved since the response; in fact, the situation has worsened. My emails have been blocked, they refuse to process a chargeback, and the investigations conducted by the staff are utterly frustrating. While the staff claim to be helpful, they assert that the entire conflict is my responsibility! This is an astonishing remark considering it involves a complaint. Is this what customer service has come to after the relentless attacks on our rights by hackers? I WILL NEVER ENGAGE WITH THIS SERVICE AGAIN. The lack of empathy and the absurdity of the situation are truly disheartening. This is the service I received, and it is unacceptable!

Completely unacceptable service with no empathy, even during the holidays.

The service provided was completely unacceptable and lacked any empathy, even during the holiday season. The response to my complaint was dismissive and harsh, reflecting a disturbing lack of decency. It felt as though the staff had no regard for basic morals or compassion. I have decided to cut all ties with this untrustworthy company. THIS IS NOT JUST ANY SERVICE; THIS IS A GROSSLY INADEQUATE SERVICE.

Generally good service, but communication issues arise

After many years of smooth banking, I recently encountered a query that proved challenging to resolve. Reaching the appropriate contacts was quite difficult, and even after conversing with three different representatives, I still received no satisfactory answer to my question. While daily use of credit card services is reliable and statements arrive on time, obtaining clarification for any unusual issues is nearly impossible.

Unable to use my bank card for weeks

I've been without my bank card since October 28, 2025. I spent two and a half hours with the technical team, but they couldn't fix the issue. They promised to call back the next day, but that never happened. On November 1, I was advised to cancel my card, which I did, and I received a replacement and PIN. However, I still can't use the card online or in-store. On November 4, the telephone support team said they would follow up, but I haven't heard back as of December 8, 2025.

Useful backup card for Euro purchases

My credit card serves as a secondary backup, making it convenient for buying Euros and shopping in stores to maximize returns. However, a downside is that transactions aren't reflected in the account for at least two days, which can be frustrating when you want to verify the charges.

Great support turned my experience around

I initially found the app on my phone challenging to navigate due to the small information display. I also faced difficulties accessing the information on my desktop, but after a friendly phone call for assistance, I can now use it effectively.

A Longtime Favorite Card with Recent Changes

My husband and I have held a credit card from the company for over ten years. It used to be our go-to card for nearly every purchase, both in the UK and abroad. We appreciated earning points for every pound spent, regardless of where we shopped, which could be converted into cash vouchers for treats from the company. Sadly, they have now restricted point accumulation to purchases made directly from their stores, leading to a significant drop in our vouchers. Additionally, using the card abroad has become less appealing due to higher transaction fees and less competitive exchange rates. As a result, we've decided to limit our card usage to the company's products and switch to credit cards from other banks that offer better rates and no foreign transaction fees. It's disappointing, and I genuinely hope that the company addresses these concerns to retain customer loyalty.
