I ordered a iPhone through fonehouse on the 28th January. I passed the credit check but fonehouse decided after 9 days me asking what was happening about my order decided they did not want to give me the contract. I am still awaiting my upfront payment back from them for £29. I have spoke to my bank and they told me fonehouse have not yet issued a refund and is still showing pending. Fonehouse told me to expect the upfront payment back in 3-5 working days. The bank think they are just waiting because after 30 days the payment should bounce back into my bank account. I think it is a disgrace to treat people in such an unprofessional way. 3 weeks on and I am still awaiting the upfront payment. I would advice anyone not to use the fonehouse I suffer from complex ptsd and it has really unsettled me. I would never recommend fonehouse to anyone as the customer service is not good at all.
I have given my details when fonehouse replied but they have not tried to contact me at all. They answer so nicely on here but when dealing with the actual problem you get ignored. Low rate company, terrible customer service!!

I ordered a new iPhone and passed the credit check. Fone house kept saying they had not heard back from the network 2 say I had passed the credit check. I had to ring and email regarding what was happening with my order as it states 24/48 hours. 9 days later the fone house send me a awful email stating yes I passed the credit check but they decided to do checks of there own and decided I was not getting the iPhone. The way they delt with my order and treated me as a person was disrespectful and rude. I paid £29.99 upfront cost for the phone and I am still awaiting my refund. I went through 3 network and received my iPhone the next day with no problem at all. Fone house made me feel like I had done something wrong and had no respect at all. Do not use this company. I am getting a 3rd party to deal with my refund as I will never contact the Fone house direct again. DO NOT USE FONE HOUSE!!

Caution when sending devices to this service. I sent a phone without any damage, only to receive a lower offer and pictures showing a scratched screen. There's no evidence that it’s even my phone—just a photo of a screen. It feels like a scam.

Upfront payment taken without delivering the product

The upfront payment for the phone was charged when I tried to verify my card, despite the indication that it would only be £2.50. They later informed me that they couldn't provide the phone and promised a refund within 3-5 days. I'm concerned this might be a scam, and I've reported the issue as fraud to my bank, asking them to resolve it.

Great customer service, but delivery could be faster (NI)

The delivery time is the only reason for 4 stars; while I recognize that Belfast and Northern Ireland have longer delivery times than the rest of the UK, I expected better processing. On the bright side, when I called customer service, a representative was very helpful, providing accurate tracking information and a clearer delivery estimate than the courier's hub could. Overall, I’m pleased with the service and found the prices competitive.

Impressively quick and efficient service.

The service was remarkably fast. I received the postage label via email and sent the item on Tuesday. My phone was inspected, and payment was processed the next day. I will definitely use this service again in the future. Highly recommend!

Everything is going well!!! The customer service was excellent when I spoke with a representative. I called because I hadn’t received a confirmation email for my order, but after a quick conversation, everything was resolved and my phone will arrive shortly!
