My electric throw stopped working, when I reached out to customer service to see if I could get it repaired, they pointed what the fault might be, but stated ' we do not have any repair service'. Is this right that a company can just produce goods and if they fail have no duty to repair things- clearly they are adding to landfill not withstanding the fact that they seem to accept that there are consistent faults with their electric throws looking at the number of mentions
Purchased the Dreamcatcher deluxe throw 3/12/22and was impressed with a 2year guarantee in fact it was the main selling point for me the throw worked fine for afew months then broke down I contacted OnBuy who we paid the money to, passed us on to Futura Direct who after e mailing them a couple of times they agreed to a new temperature controller which arrived on 7/03/23on turning on the blanket the controller worked for approx 30 seconds then nothing,after numerous e mailsand getting passed between OnBuy and Futura Direct + live chat, stress is surfacing as my wife has recently been diagnosed with Chronic Pulmonary fibrosis and keeping warm is essential we will try again but we dont hold up much hope
Best purchase ever!!! I've bought 3 cause my blankets controller just stopped working. I got them the next day even without next day delivery. Me and family are nice and warm again. It is such a great solution as I could not afford to buy new blankets
After trying to get a refund and comunicate with Futura be aware of the pitfalls Unfortunatley this company uses Evri to deliver your puchaseNext day delivery can take up to five working days (its in the small print)You cannot phone them (Covid ! ?)They do respond to emails but within 48 hoursThat doesn't always resolve issues so you have to email them again.and again and again.Thanks Futura Direct at least you have made me laughbecause your company is a joke !
