I frequently purchase from this company on Amazon and am pleased with my purchases 99.99% of the time. I appreciate the fast shipping; I love not having to wait weeks for my lab-grown diamonds. The return process is also easy, with no questions asked if you’re not satisfied, which I really like. However, I believe there are three areas for improvement. First, the band could be a bit heavier. It feels very lightweight and paper-thin, which makes it seem too delicate and fragile. Second, when you buy a lab-grown diamond, whether small or large, I would like it to come with a IGI certificate and stone ID # too. Lastly, the engagement ring heads sit too high. This is particularly noticeable with a 3 or 4-carat stone, making it look oversized and fake. A low-profile, seamless setting would be much more elegant. It wouldn’t catch on everything, and you wouldn’t have to worry about chipping, cracking, or damaging the ring in any way. A low-profile setting is stunning, especially for larger stones, anywhere from 2 to 4 carats. I hope they make these changes, as a halo setting should look seamless. The gap created by having the stone sit so high is just not appealing; an elegant and safer design is definitely preferable.
There was a little hiccup with shipping but the company ensured that they corrected this, and eventually sent the package by expedited FedEx mail. Great customer service and the silver necklace was exactly as pictured. Very pleased with both the service and the product.
2 years ago I bought an 18k rose gold plated heart necklace which has since turned black (I discovered this when I went to wear it for my anniversary). I clean my jewelry after every wearing and keep it stored in an air tight container. Real rose gold doesn't contain any kind of metal that tarnishes. This company fraudulently misrepresents the quality of its jewelry.
As I indicated to a Gem Stone King representative, it’s refreshing and nice to deal with a reputable company, and in my opinion, Gem Stone King is definitely one. Recently I purchased two semi precious stones for some custom earrings, but although they were exactly as advertised and beautiful, I decided that they didn’t match some other already worn jewelry by my girlfriend and returned them. Gem Stone King accepted the return without issue and refunded my purchase price less a very reasonable restocking/shipping fee. Undoubtedly Gem Stone King is a reputable company and I highly recommend them as a source for your jewelry product needs.
This company is fraudulent. Thank god I have some gemology training. No treatments were declared for the necklace we bought. Under the microscope it was clear that the sapphire had been heated and is heavily fractured, the "ruby" is that lead glass filled junk and still looks heavily fractured with poor clarity. Facet junctions on the gems look like someone has owned these stones for 30 years, they are heavily chipped. Will be contacting for full refund. Buyer BEWARE. This is illegal behavior and completely unethical.
