I tried to sign up and entered all of my info, chose a package then got an email to approve access to the car remotely to inspect. I approved this and then never heard from them again! Several days went by and after no contact I removed their access to the car. I dont know if they ever scanned the car or not. Very strange. I ended up selling the car anyway as it did not meet my needs in winter.
My experience with Amber has been nothing but positive. Chad (the technician) was incredibly helpful and made sure the entire process went smoothly without any hiccups. Recently, I had an issue with my battery, but thanks to Amber’s remote diagnostics and claim approval system, it was resolved quickly and I was able to get it repaired without visiting a Tesla service center.Overall, the experience was seamless, the coverage fair, and the team highly responsive throughout. I highly recommend Amber to anyone looking for a reliable extended warranty partner, especially EV owners.

I’ve been a customer utilizing Ambercare’s Basic Warranty package since Oct 2024 and just completed a 1-year renewal taking me into 2026. My experience from day one has been that of exceptional customer service. Jun Chung and Chad Henry have been nothing other than professional and helpful since I originally purchased my 2020 Tesla Model S Long Range vehicle. They performed the over the air pre-purchase inspection for my Model S for free which provided me with the confidence to know I was purchasing a trouble-free vehicle.I’ve had two maintenance issues since purchasing my Model S and both times Chad took the time to walk me through the claims process and keep me informed on anything related to the processing of my claim. Although the Tesla Service Center doesn’t do direct billing to 3rd party warranty companies, Chad has always been available to settle the billing not matter the time of day. I’ve delt with other 3rd party warranty companies in the past and most use unscrupulous practices to not cover repairs. It’s been refreshing to deal with a warranty company like AmberCare and to this date they have been above board when it comes to my vehicle repair cost.I will continue to do business with Ambercare as I feel they are on the right track and I hope they will continue to provide top notch customer service and warranty coverage for those us owner these wonderful Tesla vehicles.Sincerely & Semper FIAndre K. Have had an Amber service contract on my Model S P100D since January of last year and unfortunately needed to use their services as the headlight and front drive motor were defective. My advisor, Chad Henry, was exceptional from start to finish. He has detailed knowledge of the vehicles as a former Tesla Service employee and walked me through the entire process and made it seamless. There were no hiccups and everything that they promised was delivered easily. If you dont have a warranty left, get Amber, youll be glad you did. I cant thank them enough.
Chad and the team at Amber have been super helpful and responsive when it comes to issues I've had with my Model 3. I suffered from a super bottle replacement that would've cost me $1700 out of pocket but I paid less than 1/10 of that. Just today, my charging port suffered a failure with the latch leaving it unable to supercharge and Tesla quoted me $567. I sent an email, on the weekend nonetheless and they responded in less than an hour assuring me it would be covered.
I signed up with Amber May 2025. The onboarding process was incredibly smooth, requiring my consent to remote diagnostics of my recently purchased pre-owned 2017 Tesla Model S. The remote diagnostic took no more than 3 days and I got an email approval that waived any waiting period! Not even 2 months later, the left rear window regulator went out and the AC started making really loud noise. I brought the car to CPR EV repair, and they quickly diagnosed the failed regulator as well as failing AC compressor. Amber worked with them during the approval process, parts were ordered and an appointment scheduled for the repairs. This whole unfortunate ordeal would have cost me $2400! When the repairs were complete, I picked up the car and Amber released the payment to the shop on the spot and I was on the road again! I highly recommend Amber for your warranty needs- the price is fair and there was no delay in approving and paying for the claim. Thanks Eric, Chad, and Team! The greatest part about Amber is that you aren't tied to using Tesla service- the right 3rd party shop does better work for a fraction of the cost! I also highly recommend CPR EV Repair in Houston or Austin!
