Review Time
I have mixed feelings on this company. I ordered my first night guard from Cheeky a year ago. I don’t recall a long waiting period for any of the steps, from the impression kit to receiving the night guard. When I received the product (soft), it truly saved my life. My headaches and jaw aches went away immediately, and the guard was comfortable enough. I ordered a new one (hybrid this time) a few months ago, and although I had selected the one time replacement option, they signed me up for a subscription. I emailed customer service, and it took a few days, but it was straightened out. Again, I received this guard in a decent amount of time. I stupidly left the guard out of the case and my puppy chewed it, so I had to order a new one again and I paid the $20-something for one business day shipping. This is when I became upset with the company. I placed an order on 1/29 and didn’t receive the guard until 2/12. 2 whole weeks. During that time, I emailed customer service several times asking where it was and demanding a refund for the one day shipping cost. At first, it was explained to me that one day shipping means after the product has been made, which could be 5-7 days post order. Ok… but then a shipping label was created on 2/3. And the product wasn’t shipped until 2/10. A whole week after. I emailed angry again. They refunded me the shipping cost and apologized. I finally received the guard, and the shipping label clearly says USPS Ground, nothing about priority or rush or one day. So I’m not sure how they can even offer one day shipping. 2 weeks was a long time to wake up with head and jaw pain. Had I known it would take so long, I would have gotten a crappy one from CVS to hold me over. But I will say, I do love the Cheeky hybrid guard. It feels good and I can speak normally with it in. So I guess I would say give it a try but be patient. Don’t expect to receive it immediately. Don’t select one day shipping. No point. You’ll just fight with customer support.
I got a night guard to protect some new crowns. They sent me impression kits, with 2-part putty that I used to take impressions that I sent to them. They eventually sent me a night guard that fit pretty well. It just took a lot longer than I expected. I placed the order on 10/22/2025. They sent me the first kit and I took impressions but the putty must have been old since it didn’t harden for hours. I followed the directions anyway, which said to leave the tray in place for 3.5 minutes. Since the putty wasn’t hard at that time the quality of the impression wasn’t good. I sent the impressions to them on 10/31/2025 anyway. They sent me another kit, and then another. I eventually had received a total of four kits. The last one must have been ok, since I received my night guard on 1/2/2026. It fit well, and I’m satisfied with the night guard itself. However, the process was a lot longer than I’d expected, so I can’t give four stars.
AFTER FOUR MONTHS OF STRUGGLE, I'M STILL IN THE SAME POSITION! THERE'S NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM BY PHONE, AND THEY PROMISE TO HAVE A MANAGER CALL ME BACK, BUT IN MY EXPERIENCE, THAT NEVER HAPPENS. I WAS TOLD MY LOWER IMPRESSIONS WERE INSUFFICIENT, SO I HAD TO SUBMIT MULTIPLE ADDITIONAL ONES. FINALLY, WHEN ONE WAS ACCEPTED, I ONLY RECEIVED THE LOWER GUARD, WHILE THE UPPER GUARD NEVER CAME. COUNTLESS EMAILS WITH A REPRESENTATIVE WHO SEEMED PERPETUALLY CONFUSED ABOUT MY SITUATION. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL! AS A FOLLOW-UP, THEY REQUESTED MY ORDER NUMBER AFTER MY REVIEW BUT DIDN'T PROVIDE A WAY TO SUBMIT IT. I'VE ONLY RECEIVED RESPONSES FROM ONE PERSON, MAKING IT SEEM USELESS TO ENGAGE IN ANOTHER EMAIL THREAD WITH HIM.
I had an incredible experience! The retainers are of outstanding quality — comfortable, well-crafted, and just what I was looking for. The support team is extremely helpful, responsive, and professional, making the entire process seamless from beginning to end. I genuinely value the care and attention they dedicate to their work. I highly recommend this service to anyone in need of high-quality retainers and excellent customer support!
I strongly recommend avoiding this service! The night guards are poorly constructed and of low quality. The teeth impressions are inconsistent, and I couldn't even wear them—they're way too small, almost like they were designed for a child. I'm extremely disappointed, especially after waiting a month. I've already initiated a refund online and will be sending back their overpriced, subpar product. Don't waste your time or money on this. Instead, consult your dentist for professional night guards.
I’ve used cheeky for years. I once got a guard that was squeaky and they sent a new one no questions asked. I also recently wanted to end my subscription while I go through some orthodontia and they refunded the rest of my partially fulfilled subscription which they definitely didn’t have to do :)
I have never had a better experience with customer service! Responses in minutes, helpful and so kind. My night guard didn’t fit when I received it, Christian with customer service walked me through every step of the exchange and even helped me change the things I didn’t like about the guard I picked. 10/10 ❤️
