Do not use this company they will not refund your money. They did not tell us about an automatic yearly renewal fee. When I called to contest it they said that I needed to cancel 30 days before renewal even though our company never used services.
Salesman and demo guy from hearth doesnt realize that customer relations is an critical and one of the most important things you need to maintain when trying to sell your product. I have inquired about using their service a few times over the last few years and never went through with it as I didn't know if I wanted to add anymore overhead to my yearly expenses. With that being said I had a demo this year with them and after taking time the last few weeks to book demos with all sorts of different companies that sell marketing services, customer relation apps, website building and maintenance, financing options for customers etc i notified the hearth salesman that I was canceling our follow up call and going a different direction with my options I got multiple text messages that were very unprofessional and unwarranted. Would not recommend the 2500$ cost to use their services and not have 100% guarantee of customers with average to good credit getting funding.
Kevin from the surface department cleared up a ton of information for me. He made it clear and simple. If I ever have any other questions, I will be asking for Kevin. My salesman was also great. So far the whole team seems very knowledgeable and know exactly how to help guide me as a contractor. I’m excited to continue to use hearth.
Sergio did a nice job of walking us through the steps of setting up a customer and what the steps are after that. To be honest we were not as prepared as we could have been. But I know he is available to support us we get going.
So far so good! I'm impressed with the ease and agility of the Hearth platform. We purchased the full package with concierge and AI receptionist and its been a great addition to track calls and assist people even if I cant ger to the phone. All Hearth employees I have worked with have been friendly and knowledgeable
I made a mistake on applying for credit the for a bathroom remodel. I saw my error and did not know how to correct it. I sent an email to Hearth and immediately (late on a Monday evening) pointing out what I had done wrong and giving me the tools to correct it.
Ninoshka was professional, responsive, and very organized throughout the process. She communicated clearly, followed up promptly, and ensured everything moved forward smoothly. Her attention to detail and commitment to quality made the experience seamless. Overall, excellent service and a pleasure to work with.
Kevin provided us with excellent service. He helped both me and my coworkers clarify and resolve a situation that we didn’t fully understand within the application. I had a terrible experience with Hearth.
They processed an annual auto-renewal charge claiming I signed a contract authorizing it — but when I asked for proof, they could not provide any legitimate evidence. The “contract” they sent only had my name printed on it. There was no actual signature, no DocuSign, no electronic audit trail, and no proof I ever clicked to accept the agreement. They also couldn’t provide a recorded call or any confirmation showing I authorized someone to sign on my behalf.
To make it worse, one of the documents they sent had inconsistent dates, even referencing an agreement from 2018 — which is impossible because I didn’t even use Hearth back then. I only signed up last season.
The service itself was not helpful. None of my clients ended up using Hearth financing because the interest rates were higher than what they could get through their credit unions. The support also did not match what was advertised.
When I reached out to dispute the renewal, their refunds department was not helpful and only repeated policy language instead of addressing the lack of proof that I ever agreed to anything. Management responded with a generic email saying no refund was possible due to auto-renewal — again without providing any evidence of consent.
What’s concerning is that this appears to be a pattern. Hearth currently has 83 complaints on the Better Business Bureau, with 47 of those complaints filed within the last 12 months alone — many related to unauthorized charges and disputed contracts.
I would strongly caution anyone considering this service. Between the poor value, lack of transparency, and questionable billing practices, this has been a very frustrating experience.
