I bought a set of hearing aids, one stopped working, then the other did, I contacted the company, got a standard reply,
So I contacted them again and have heard nothing since, I really regret having anything to do with this company
I got used to the hearing aid within 48 hours. No problems now at all. Put them in when I get up and take them out when I go to bed. Fantastic quality and price and I really can hear well now. (My wife says so.)
This company offers a 45 day home trial of their hearing aids, stating they will refund if not suitable for the individual.
I purchased these for my husband and they did not work at all, I contacted the company and had to answer endless questions and provide photos. I duly did all of this only to be asked for even more photos and more questions whilst they tried to wriggle out of their promise.
Eventually they offered a 30% refund due to having hygiene costs for returned items, this is not mentioned in the adverts. The fact that they state if they 'are not for you we honour our promise and will refund' is not the case.
After much correspondence they increased their offers upto 65% currently.
I want a full refund as I was led to believe this was what they were offering.
When I try to order these hearing aids Norton says “suspicious link” and Safari says “Address is invalid” I have tried from Facebook and through your website. This is making me think that you are not a genuine company. I would love to be proved wrong as I am really interested in trying these hearing aids UPDATE Thank you for your reply. I was actually clicking on your link in Facebook. I appreciate your comments on Norton. You say I should have communicated with your team but the problem was that I COULDN’T GET IN TOUCH This was the only way I could get in touch. Sorry about the one star but I couldn’t give any more as I don’t have the product and didn’t know how else to rate it. Before I try to order can you tell me if you supply aids with Bluetooth connectivity please
2nd UPDATE Thank you for your advice about the rating -,done., I listen to my music a lot and therefore need Bluetooth. Thank you for your patience in this matter and I look forward to ordering Bluetooth aids from you sometime in the future

This account of my experience with HearWell device is neither sponsored are written for any gain.
After 35 days of following advice from Customer Support I failed to find any improvement in my hearing. I asked after 35 days to return the aids but Customer support spent a further 49 days sending me instructions to in their words “ensure a correct fit”. I followed all their instructions, repeatedly maintaining that I did not experience any improvement in my hearing.
In the course of all this advice Customer Support said:
“Many real-world settings large rooms, church acoustics, conference tables, and long distances are environments where even strong prescription devices struggle without microphone directionality, noise-management programming, or custom tuning—features that require a clinical, NHS-style fitting. This does not indicate the product is unfit for purpose; it reflects the natural limitations of non-prescription in-ear devices.”
Eventually my case was referred to their legal Department. They refused to honour the guarantee advising me that The Better Hearing Guarantee applies when:
“the device does not improve hearing despite correct use and troubleshooting
It does not apply when the difficulties are caused by positioning, handling, or adjustment factors. In-ear aids can be very sensitive to micro-positioning inside the canal. Even a 1–2 mm difference in angle or seal can trigger whistling, reduce clarity, make amplification sound uneven, feel unnatural or distracting;
Regarding hearing improvement, it’s important to clarify that “improvement” under the Better Hearing Guarantee refers to measurable benefit when sound reaches the ear through a stable, correct fit—not continuous or universal clarity in every environment.
The Legal Department stated:
“Because my case aligns with preference and feature comparison rather than a confirmed defect or lack of improvement after full adaptation and troubleshooting, it falls outside the scope of the 45-Day Better Hearing Guarantee, which is designed to cover performance-related issues following consistent use and fit adjustment.”
I was offered and accepted reluctantly a 30% refund.

At the age of 75 I was offered my first ever hearing aid by a local optician at (what they said was) a very reasonable price of £4600. Fortunately for me I became aware of the HearWell hearing aids. These proved to be absolutely brilliant and changed my wellbeing so much for the better. The cost for these including delivery was was £145. You just can’t go wrong with these HearWell hearing aids.
I read several comments on the net about this company, and succumbed to their convincing advertising! So far, I haven’t been disappointed, but I am still getting used to the fitting and “tuning” of the aids. I contacted the company and had an e mail conversation with Deborah who helped with some of the issues I was experiencing and I am almost up and running. The difference in my hearing is staggering. I have turned my TV sound down from level 30 to 9, and my I-pad and phone are also turned down, all on the first level of 7 offered on the aids. At present I am not sure how loud I am speaking because you can also hear your own voice more clearly. Hopefully I will soon cut out the word “Pardon?” from my vocabulary!
Tried these aids for a 7 days unfortunately they were not strong enough for my moderate hearing loss.
Contacted the company and several emails back and forth took them 3 weeks to decide I had gone over my cooling off period and offered me £43 pounds refund when paid £ 149 for them! Appalling customer service would never recommend this company beware you have been warned
Wish I had found them years ago.
They arrived fairly quickly and from the moment I opened the box I could see that they were a quality item.
They are rechargeable which is a bonus they can be a little problematical when you first put them into your ear canal but with practice it becomes easier.
I have no hesitation in recommending these aides.
