To be honest, I have bought many types of hearing products for my grandma but none of them were more reliable than this one, now she is listening very the voices very clearly now and don't need to repeat.

I do not think that this company, whether they be British or (more likely foreign), are ever likely to improve.

I ordered hearing aids and paid £149.00 via my bank.
There followed numerous emails informing me that they were on their way. 12 days later, nothing has arrived.

I sent an email to Hearwell (Taken from the email addressee). No response. I have used a telephone no taken from the internet, which appears to refer to a legitimate company using this trading name.

Perhaps more importantly, my Norton Computer Security programme, flags this outfit as "Highly suspicious" and refused to allow me to make contact with "Hearwell." (gethearwell).

Suspicions have grown increasingly loud since the realisation that I was probably dealing with an unsafe organisation. Following which checking with Trust Pilot and other reviewers, I am 99% certain that they will certainly not honour their 45 day "guarantee", willingly.

I also understand that the devices themselves, are not "hearing aids" but amplifiers. (There are straight forward difference between the two descriptions, where the Hearwell devices are not of any value to those suffering from hearing loss).

My next stop is to discuss this dubious outfit with my Bank.

You should work on the principle that you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, Hearwell have managed to hit a good advertising ploy, comparing SpecSavers and Boots products with the so called benefits of their own trash.

Like so many more on TrustPilot, I would draw your attention to self preservation and give this outfit a very wide berth.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I have noted the response from Hearwell to my Trust Pilot review.
In the light of their unhelpful replies, I saw fit to check Companies House for this outfit.

Short answer: NO TRACE.

I invite you to draw your own conclusions.

In my email reply, I have requested that Hearwell/gethearwell.co.uk supply the name of their Co. Sec. and their Trading address.
I am not holding my breath for a realistic response.

Ordering was easy and everything arrived well presented. Initially I wasn’t convinced, as my own voice sounded strange and slightly echoey. Customer support explained this was normal and suggested wearing them in short periods. That advice helped a lot. After about a week the sound felt more natural and much less distracting.

DON'T BE TEMPTED TO BUY THESE HEARING AIDS!I am over 80 and was desperate to improve my hearing and I should have known that the price would reflect the quality. Similar to other customer reviews I bought these on the premise of a 45 day trial or return. A hearing aid cannot be tested for quality unless you try them on and having tried them I found they were not fit for purpose in my case so asked for refund. These aids just amplify every sound without distinguishing speech. I have been offered a goodwill payment of £40 which I have to agree to before the refund is granted. This is just 22.8% of what I paid for them as I also paid for their recommended support items which were not included in the Hearing Aid that I was buying. (The three separate items were charged at a total of £46:87.) There was no mention of the fact that they did not offer a refund on these if the hearing aid was returned.

I am very disappointed and somewhat poorer as a result.

I bought the hearing aids for my wife who was havinhg trouble hearing conversation and needed the tv volume very high. She did not like the fact that she needed help but accepted she had a problem hearing. The help we received from Mary at Get Well Hearing was unbelievable, she answered all the questions we asked, gave copious amounts of suggestions over a period of four or five weeks which meant my wife was assisted untill she was thoroughly happy with the hearing aids and is wearing them constantly without any problems. Yes the learning curve for her was uncomfortable but all the help we received was superb.l would behappy and pleased to reccommend these hearing aids (and Mary) to anyone who is thinking of purchasing them.

I purchased for my 84 year old mother on the understanding that we could return if she didn’t like them - the 45 day trial is not valid … if the product is opened … how can you trial without opening?
Trial means:
👉 A test or a chance to see how well something works
Not in this case - read the full details at the bottom of the sales page to find out what a trial is (you are not sign posted to this)
Personally the £45 gesture of goodwill offered was the only trial, as in a very difficult situation to try to get my 84 year old distressed mother’s money back
Not a happy customer experience at all
I have recommended to Hearwell that they put an * next to the 45 day trial, so people can be clear that they need to check out the offer, with full clarity
I can see from the reviews we are not the only people to have been mis lead by the vague sales page

My husband has been struggling with his hearing for a few years, we could never afford the prices for hearing aids, while on Facebook I read about Hearwell, I decided to order for my husband, bargain price we could afford, he had problems with charging them so emailed hearwell, fast response with a video and diagram which solved his problem straight away, he's doing really well now, I highly recommend these aids they really do work.

Disappointing experience, product failed to deliver.

Completely ineffective and did not work as promised. For the price I paid, I should have expected better quality. The 14-day cancellation policy was not honored, and I ultimately had to threaten a chargeback to receive a credit. Their automated email responses suggest they deal with numerous complaints. It feels like they aim to exhaust you into abandoning your refund request. I strongly advise against making a purchase.

Initial Impressions Are Great

I've just begun using these and I'm quite impressed so far. Although the delivery took some time, I managed to use some alternatives in the meantime. Comparing them briefly, the aids appear to be of higher quality. Additionally, they were packaged beautifully.

Exceptional Hearing Aids and Support

I decided to order these aids as my hearing had become a concern, especially with a lengthy 10-month wait for NHS services and a hefty price tag from others. I couldn't be more satisfied with my choice. Initially, I encountered an issue with the right earpiece and worried I might have wasted my money, but I was pleasantly surprised. The support team was fantastic; they identified a fault I couldn't fix and promptly sent a replacement set within days. After using them for about 10 days, I can confidently say they have made a significant difference. I've nearly stopped needing to read lips while people speak. The service was outstanding, the devices are discreet, and I appreciate the ability to adjust volume and select different settings. I'm truly glad I invested in these aids.
