I had a particular remit when trying these Hearwell hearing aids. I have worn hearing aids for years; originally NHS hearing aids, then I changed to some from Specsavers. Due to wanting Bluetooth connectivity, these had to be over the ear hearing aids which don't fit under my helmet when riding my motorcycle. This was not a problem as I have always ridden without hearing aids since, although the hearing in my left ear is pretty bad due to decades of Menieres Disease, my right ear only has slight age-related hearing loss. Then I changed my bike to one with a screen that resulted in a lot of wind noise due to turbulence from the screen. Initially, I tried ear plugs. They worked well to dampen down the wind noise, but the problem was that I really struggled to hear the cashier when buying fuel. Then I tried these Hearwell hearing aids, and found that they dampened down the wind noise, and I can also hear when paying for my petrol! As a bonus, I now don't have to swap between ear plugs and hearing aids when putting on or taking off my helmet. It's the best of both worlds!
these were surprisingly straightforward I’m 82 and not great with fiddly things, but these were surprisingly straightforward. My grandson helped with the first fit and after that I was fine. Nice that you get time to try them at home, takes the pressure away a bit.
They don’t interfere with my glasses which is a relief. I did struggle with the modes at first but the little manual actually helped more than I expected. Still trying them out but enjoying not saying “pardon?” every five minutes.
These hearing aids have considerable merit and the price is remarkable (although essentially the same product is available elsewhere cheaper.I am a doctor who has excellent NHS hearing aids but decided to try these as 'spares' if I happened to lose mine and not be in a position to get a replacement. Also, my spouse wanted to see if they suited her. The website's first page implies that they are good enough to rival very expensive hearing aids AND that there is a free trial period of 45 days.As they were not suitable, I tried to send them back only to beobstructed at every turn, told that I had not tried them enough but as they had been in my ears they could not be reused. This was in among a mass of verbiage which I suspect is AI. I refused the paltry sum offered. This company needs to behave in an honest and ethical way and otential customers should be warned.
Hi After trying the hearing aids for several day's (could not keep them in for long ) I contacted Hearwell for advice.I was told to try different settings and ear buds no different. After several emails I asked to return them.Several emails latter, after sending photos of everything. I finally got to return them.I'm now £90 out of pocket. So if you can afford to lose money try them.BUT Beware Just read response I wore the hearing aids for about hour and a half each day over several days Not 1hour and a half over several days as you are saying. ,
Do not purchase from this company. They will take your money and ignore your emails regarding the return policy. I mailed back my return 3 months ago and still haven’t received a refund despite providing all the tracking information and paying for the return shipment. They are a scam
