Very bad experience -

Bad Company-My Mercedes car parking sensors was not working- I rang to the AA- First the phone was ringing half hour every time they not picking - they picked the call and suggest the nearest garage for diagnosis-I been to the garage- garage man said he will charge me £60 an hour for the diagnostic-I rang to the AA again to check is this correct- AA said no we will pay those charges-Garage man got approval to check my car on the AA cost-I dropped my car there 10 am and garage man rang me 3 pm that your car is fixed now- Parking sensor main plug had got water in it- they open that plug and dry it and put it back and the sensors working -Mini job-But the garage man said I send all your details to AA warranty through prestige company- And Prestige company said your claim is not covered- You have to pay all the cost-Now the garage men giving me the bill of £300 for the mini work-AA warranty people straight reject the claim - it’s not our fault - it’s a client fault the water goes in the plug-If the water goes inside the plugs it’s not the driver fault - it’s a wear and tear-And in My Policy the AA warranty will not charge any wear and tear-The AA still told you have to pay and I paid that and bring my car.Bad company and their garages-I strongly not recommend to all not to go with this-Spend few hundred pound more to go with extended manufactures warranty-They are unbelievable - for the mini job £300 cost for me-

I would rate 0

I would rate 0, but have to rate at least 1... Ordered an Envy Laptop (with monitor and backpack), was promised a 3 Business Day Delivery. Received the Backpack and Monitor in 3 business days. The Backpack came in a huge box with 5 times the bag's volume worth of filler. During the next 2 weeks, I was led to believe I had to wait for the PC. Then one day I was told I had to call Canada Post. I called Canada Post and they swore that the packages were all delivered. Now HP was telling me I had to file a lost package report with Canada Post. So ensued finger-pointing of Canada Post, the receptionist who signed for the packages and HP sitting in the distance indifferent and unhelpful. Finally, I called HP back to complain about the whole process which I found ridiculous. Dealing with customer service is painful. Asked to speak with a Supervisor. The Supervisor tells me that the PC is actually on backorder, so they offer me a different PC, but then it takes 3 days to confirm a price. Ultimately, I canceled the order and now it will take a month to get a refund. Went to the local Memory Express and picked up a great PC same-day, better price, better quality. I've had many bad experiences with HP Printers in the past, but this takes the cake. Totally useless company...

Don't Do What They Promised

I called tech support to reconnect old printer to wireless. They said it would cost $19.99 since warranty was up and talked me into buying a new printer for $69.99. The printer arrived as promised and then was defective. I spoke with customer service and they said they would send a return label with prepaid shipping and ship me a replacement overnight. Two days later the "overnight" shipment had not arrived so I looked at the tracking information. The ONLY thing they had done was created a shipping label. I called HP and was told they would not send the replacement printer until they received the old one in 3-6 business days. I said it wasn't acceptable as I've already been without a printer for over a week. They said they would cancel the replacement, return the old one and overnight a new one to me. Again, two days later, no printer yet. I wish I would have purchased it from Best Buy because I could then get in the car and get it taken care of immediately. And what is with them constantly peddling their ink subscription?

Ordered a laptop

Ordered a laptop. While ordering it stated 3-5 days, Ok, cool. After i ordered it says 21 days (Feb. 26), then the delivery date changed to 31 days (March 5th). Frustrating, but ok. Then after 29 days and it isn't even in production i contact them and now its another month till it ships (march 31st). That's 2 months for a laptop, WHAT? I cancelled the order and they tell me it will be 2-3 days to confirm and then another 3-5 after that to get my money back (it took them seconds to take my money). Stay away if you want a laptop, if you like frustration, well this is the place!

Absolutely horrendous!

Absolutely horrendous. Paid over £800 for 3 year warranty through Llanelli Motor Company. Was told by the salesman that all aspects of repair was covered hence why I bought it! Fly wheel became faulty, took to AA approved garage who contacted AA and sent video once gear box was dropped. AA have refused to pay for the repair as they said it was due to “wear and tear” and that the flywheel had moved so this shows that this has moved over time. Couldn’t drive the van took it straight to the garage, now going to cost over £900 to repair. DO NOT BUY AA WARRANTY!!!!!

Refused warranty

Bought a car, supposedly with a quibble free warranty. After a couple of weeks it became apparent the car had a leaking rear differential. When I took this up with the warranty company.i was told that I'm not covered and declined the repair...Very disappointed that this warranty doesn't appear to be worth the paper it's written on. Perhaps they would of taken more interest if I had purchased the £360 yearly warranty!!!Appalling quality of service and I will be leaving very poor reviews on every website available to me!!!

Completely pointless Waist of money

Completely pointless Waist of money! Boutgh a low mileage car and I paid extra for the gold+ aa warrenty cover, was told this was their best cover you could get! Wish I'd have saved the money and not bothered, to start with you will need about an hour free to get in touch with them you're put on hold for so long, on any occasion they were no quicker than 30mins to get through. Had to speak to them about fixing a couple of faults with the car but as they don't cover 'wear and tear' or any impact damage (not from crashing the car but because a stone had bounced up and caused some damage) then they could manipulate anything you want to be fixed to fall into one of these categories or one of their other broad, uncovered general damage. After speaking to them far a while on the phone it was obvious they weren't going to cover the parts but they did mention they could cover labour charge of any work up to the price of £44.50+Vat, to which I thought OK at least its some contribution. All I had to do was to pass on my information to the garage ( an AA garage) who then needed to get back in touch with the claims department to discuss the repair work and what cover they would provide. After doing this in the morning the very nice woman at the garage told me she would contact them and get back to me as soon as possible. I then got a phone call around 5 o'clock from the garage who had given up trying to get through to the claims department as they were left on hold twice for an hour each time! She then told me she had emailed them with the details and was waiting for a reply. When she finally got a reply no would be covered by them or any contribution to the cost of labour! So all in all a huge waist of time and money don't bother! Save the money and pay for any work yourself (which you'd have to do anyway) or find a better company to cover you.

good experience

good experience. 4 stars as wait times on call are sometimes too long. Logged a claim for my BMW: rear camera and suspension valve assembly failure. camera was declined as part of multimedia system but suspension valve assembly repair job was approved. you get what you pay for and if i compare this with a similar claim i had with official toyota warranty for my wife's toyota in past (where some things were not covered as well) I would still say AA is good value for money and you ll be ok with them as long as you don't expect suspension shock absorbers or break pads to be covered. claim was straightforward: fix was approved (garage also mentioned long wait times while they were getting approval for repairs, i paid the garage, sent invoice to aa and got it paid back to me within week's time. I will be renewing my policy with AA.

AA warranty the worst service I have ever experienced

AA warranties or as I understand Prestige or motorway direct.. I took a five star AA warranty out on a car I purchased from an AA approved dealer and after my complementary 3 month warranty had expired. My car suffered a breakdown on Xmas eve at 10pm the engine completely failed and had to have it recovered to my home. I managed to contact AA warranties on the 27th Dec and they told me their preferred local garage to which I then had it recovered to on the 30th dec since I have been running up a bill (on the car investigations) and my phone bill having investigations carried out to identify the issue we have finally 4 weeks on identified it needs a new engine, I still have no decision on if covered or not every time I call they are waiting on info it’s the garages fault or the system is experiencing problems or just we are still investigating and we will make a decision when good and ready. I have had to chase from day 1 and as the policy holder you are liable for all costs until they except the claim!!! So I have been without a car now for 5 weeks I can’t rent as even if they do reimburse it’s a max seven days and comes off the cap of £3k on the whole claim. I have complained and asked for explanations but none. All in all the worst customer service or service of any sort I have ever recieved in my life. Once sorted I will be cancelling every policy I hold with the AA they should really pay more attention to services being offered using there name!!! Disgusting
