Absolutely blown away by the service today when purchasing my Cartier watch. From the moment we walked in, we were treated so warmly and professionally. The team couldn’t have been more helpful – patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely lovely.
They even offered us prosecco while we chose, which made the whole experience feel extra special. Buying a Cartier should feel memorable, and they absolutely delivered. Stop using DPD as your delivery service, or at least give us an option to choose our delivery company.
Ordered something as a birthday gift, was promised next day delivery. Unfortunately, DPD in my area are widely known for only 'attempting delivery' without actually knocking or buzzing. I've been home all day on both occasions, yet - "sorry, we missed you". No, you didn't. You never bothered to buzz.
From Goldsmith perspective, the best they could offer is for me to pick it up from their local branch, which is alright, I guess, everyone knows it's safe to walk on the streets with jewellery in your pocket. No other courier was offered to me either. Shame. Will never order from Goldsmith again. Too sad the person the gift is for was very keen on this specific item.
Asked their customer service to raise a complaint on my behalf to DPD, was told they would, though they won't inform me on how that's going, so safe to assume they won't do a thing about it.
The virtual chat is either unavailable or I found myself stuck at a very low position in the queue with no progress at all—I eventually gave up. I also called the helpline and waited over an hour, moving only from number 6 to 4 in the queue before I decided to give up.
I placed an order in-store for next day delivery and received a confirmation email. Now, two days have passed with no delivery, no updates, and no return calls. After finally reaching customer service, I still have no further information. It’s incredibly difficult to get in touch; the phone connects but then goes silent. I was promised a callback, which never happened. I'm now out 3.9K with no ring and no sign of delivery. I cannot recommend this service due to its extremely poor support. I have no choice but to initiate a chargeback to recover my funds, as the company has not contacted me.
I ordered a high-end watch from a retailer on Tuesday 9th December, anticipating the next-day delivery promised on their website. By Thursday 11th, I had yet to receive the item or any updates. I spent over an hour in their customer service phone queue with no response, and the virtual support team also did not reply despite several attempts. For a seller of luxury items, this standard of service is very disappointing. As of 12th December, I still have not received a delivery date and have been unable to get in touch with the retailer, raising concerns that the watch won’t arrive before Christmas. I expected far better communication and dependability from a company of this stature.
We were searching for a St Christopher for our daughter-in-law for Christmas and found one we liked on the company's website. They kindly reserved it until we could visit the local branch later that day. We were thrilled to proceed with the purchase as it was exactly what we wanted. A special thanks to the representative who was incredibly helpful.
I had a dreadful experience with customer service. My order was supposed to arrive the next day but was two days late. There was no communication regarding the order status. Now, I cannot process a return online. The order shows delivered but is still marked unfulfilled. Reaching customer care is frustrating, with long wait times on the phone. The live chat option often ends abruptly without response. This was my first and last purchase.
