Hotdeals is not hot. and could be illigal. We should consider a class action law suit. I am convinced it is the only thing that will stop them this horrible behavior. The service is non-existent. Golf Now not only not refund your money on a hot deal, they create conditions into which one can only use the credits in a limited fashion. can't apply it to an existing tee time and pay the difference, essentially allowing Golg Now to keep your money in their bank account earning interest. they get "the float" on the money and you give "the shaft". Horrible policy. Guarantee 10 out of 10 consumers don't read the fine print. I will be telling everyone I know how horrible your company is.
I paid for a golf tee time which I then had to quickly cancel and received a GolfNow confirmation that my tee time was canceled and I have been refunded for the full amount.However, they never refunded my credit card and when I disputed the charge with my credit card company, this vendor sent my credit card company a letter that I committed friendly fraud.I have the GolfNow receipt which shows GolfNow stated they refunded me, which they did not and thus this company is not to be trusted.
I booked a tee time at a prominent course in Westchester NY and it specifically indicated that a cart was included. I subsequently learned that after 11/1, the course was walking only so I cancelled. My confirmation also indicated that a cart was included. When I received the credit card statement, the refund wasn't included. I immediately called and was told by the representative that a Golf Now credit was issued. The rep said that if my confirmation indicated that a cart was included, they would refund the money. A supervisor got on the phone to say that it was standard to say that but that the reservation page said it was walking only. After a lot of back and forth, he wouldn't refund the money but extended the time to use the credit an additional 3 months. This entire experience was not acceptable and I doubt I will use them again.
I made a reservation on Golfnow. The course then told me that tee-time was unavailable and that there were no other times available that day. I requested a refund, but golfnow only allowed me to keep credits to use on their website. Since then, I've tried using those credits, but many golf courses do not accept those credits, even when I reserve through Golfnow. Their customer support claims refunds are impossible.
Some Golf Courses in the area will only let you book 2 player via the GofNow App. Sometime I do play as a single, however I am excluded from playing these course as a single player unless I book it directly with the Golf Course.
