Review Time
I woke up the morning on the day I had my tee time and had severe lower back pain. There was no way I could play. I went on your website and observed where I could not get a refund for mine and my son-in-laws golf unless it was 24 hours prior to our tee time. Well, unfortunately injuries can happen within that 24 hour time period and Golf Now will not even issue a credit for golf at a later date. Not sure I will use Golf Now for future bookings. I had issues with GolfNow before which is why I avoid them like the plague. I will also note that everyone should avoid golf courses affiliated with GolfNow. The reason being is that even if you book a golf course through a courses website that is affiliated with GolfNow, they will charge you a $5.00 booking fee--ironically called a "convenience fee"--that you will not get back unless the course officially closes.I had broken my foot 4 days prior to the tee time and obviously could not play, i cancelled the tee time through the course but was never reimbursed for the convenience fee. avoid GolfNow!!!
My main complaint is that if you book a tee time and if you cancel it they give you "credit" on your account but not an actual refund. So now the money is stuck with them until you actual go through with a booking with them the next time. I think that's garbage. Sometimes you have to cancel tee times because someone gets sick or whatever. Also really doesn't save you much on green's fees.
If anyone has a phone number for them PLEASE let me know. They just stole $100 booked a time cancelled per their rules cause the guy was going to play with had an ill wife just want a credit but can’t even get a response have used their customer service email three times and nothing. Will def never use again bunch of crooks. Cancelling my credit card also !!!
Worst customer service! Never use golf now. It’s a scam. If you buy the insurance and you have a problem they will not help you. They just want to keep your money. Use another app to book your golf with better policies and people working for them . Take this as a warning.. ⚠️
I've been a golfnow vip member since they started the program, my account states I've saved 13k I would assume that means I've spent 4 to 5 times that amount on tee times most likely much more. When i became a member you could use your rewards to get items like golf clubs, clothes, etc..then it became you got cash toward rounds anytime then it changed to certain times during weekdays, now it's some weird points system that makes no sense and you're unsure how much you have or how much they're worth. Customer service used to be a live person until 7pm eastern now it's an AI until 5pm and you have to trick it to get you to a live person that's overseas and instead of customer service that values you as a long time member it's a how can we keep from giving you any service or credit for what you paid. We played 3 holes and the horn blew to stop play due to weather,I called customer service (there apparently is no longer a vip line) and the gentleman at first said since i played 4 holes i could not get a full credit for my round I repeated that I had only played 3 holes then he said 3 holes was the point where i could not get full credit, in the end he said I would get $125 in credit towards future rounds, I only received $25. This will be my last year as a golfnow member due to declining customer service, loss of value of the service, their business model of every year chipping away at the benefits of being a member, and not valuing me as a longtime member .thanks for listening Scott Warner
I didn't say it was great. I don't expect great from a Golfnow, just reliablity. You offer t-times that sometimie work for me and sometimes don't. You provide an easy to use service and don't charge that much. It's not life changing but Golfnow allows me to find discount rates and courses I like to play. My Golfnow user name is Garsar1234.
