I recently obtained a loan from Goodleap for a new HVAC unit and the CSM I spoke with, Jara, was absolutely fantastic. She was always pleasant, informative, patient, and knowledgeable. She helped make the loan process less stressful and go more smoothly.

Good mission and good performance

I appreciate the mission of this company, which seems to be carried out in their work. They are making climate- and cost-saving options available to ordinary working folks like my family. Their representatives are reliably responsive, respectful, and effective.

Goodleep is is a scam

Goodleep is quick to accept finance applications when you have a great credit. Great at taking your money. When you have an issue they are no where to be found. We had an AC contractor whom we purchased 2 AC units for our home. Within 7 months our system was not cooling. We were under warranty 100%. Contractors would not respond- after several attempts, the contractor started threatening my husband. Long story short- ac not working, no contractor- new company we hired to get our AC running told us the install was wrong- leaking chemicals and in violation/code.We had to get 2 new AC- Now we are paying GoodLeep for 4 AC units and they will not take responsibility or respond to any of our emails/photos/trail of shared threatening text from our contractor.Goodleep is responsible to vet out their contractor or provide warranty recommendations when their contractor is not responding. One scam after another- next is the better business bureau! Goodleep is no different than the scammer AC contractor.

Best decision we’ve made besides marrying each other!

Goodleap helped us with our financing for our solar panels and they made a stressful situation stress free. We were tired of surprise huge power bills so both my husband and myself agreed that solar panels were not only economical but a better environmentally sustainable option as well and GoodLeap definitely made the transition smooth and easy and we couldn’t be happier!

Terrible company - Should not Be Allowed To Operate

Terrible company. They lock you into a set rate and will not allow you to increase your monthly payment as needed. They don't show interest accruing in the account either, so you just have to take it on faith they're not overcharging you, or call their CS line every time you want an actual account summary. I don't know how controlling what you pay each month toward your loan is legal, but I'll put myself in the poorhouse getting out from under Good leap ASAP. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Don't Use Them!!

The electric company that did some work at my home offered goodleap, so I used them. For weeks I kept getting calls for other home loans. The first "gentleman" I spoke with gave me a lot of inaccurate information about how I would save money by refinancing through them. As an auditor in the mortgage servicing industry, I KNEW he was incorrect and when I told him he just got more belligerent! Their portal is a pain in the *ss, their billing statements are poorly constructed, and never would I recommend them to anybody!!

"NO STARS"

"NO STARS" - scammers, thieves, pirates, bandits! This company is the worst. they use fraudulent and unfair business practices in their accounting. You end up paying more towards interest than principal. My payment is $176 a month of that 60-70% goes to interest. This month 99% went to interest and $1.00 to principal. I have autopay and when I send a check as extra payment, they processed the check, but not the autopay, which means they evidently want me in their debt forever.. Don't deal with this company, as a matter of fact - it is time for a class action lawsuit with the number of complaints on BBB and other websites.

They lost a payment from my bank

They lost a payment from my bank. Capitalized my interest even though it was paid in full. Horrible customer service. Many calls were routed to the Philippines, not an understandable person. Do not deal with them!

Terrible bunch of liars

Terrible bunch of liars, put a lien on my house under the cover of something called a UCC. They say loan is signature loan with the solar equipment as the collateral. But bank says otherwise. Just another bunch of crooks.

This company is just another predatory…

This company is just another predatory lender using underhanded practices to rip people off. I agreed to a loan with them because the solar company (Blue Raven) I was working with indicated that I would receive a rebate for taking out the loan and that if I paid off the loan prior to my first payment I would not owe any interest/fees, etc. I also asked a representative from Goodleap if I would be charged any monies if I paid off the loan prior to my first payment being due and they responded that I would not owe anything more than the initial loan amount. None of that was true. They charged interest plus a processing fee even though I paid off the loan prior to my first payment being due. This is a dishonest company that has been or is currently being sued by multiple people/states. Do not do business with them as they will rip you off.
