No help on 5000 dollar double payment

Their app appears to have a recurring issue with processing duplicate payments (other reviewers have reported similar issues. In my case, it withdrew $5,000 twice. Customer service informed me that a refund will take up to 30 days, and the so-called “escalation” team won’t even review my case for two business days. Most modern accounting systems can instantly detect and prevent duplicate payments—especially when an account shows a zero balance—and issue immediate refunds when errors occur. Given both my experience and similar reports from others, this seems less like a glitch and more like a deliberate design flaw.

Goodleap is shady and misleading

Goodleap is shady and misleading. While trying to make my final payment, they hid $0.20 of the final amount owed and when the 0% interest promo period ended, I was left with a $981 interest bill because of the hidden $0.20. They have a history of doing this with past customers and are involved in countless lawsuits. Stay away from Goodleap.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! GoodLeap appears to rely on vague underwriting guidelines and discretionary contract language in a way that conceals critical terms from consumers until it is too late to take corrective action. This practice is misleading, unethical, and predatory. It has placed significant financial and emotional stress on my family during the sale of our home.I respectfully request that GoodLeap be held accountable and that they honor the original loan agreement as signed. Specifically, I ask that they remove any fabricated or undisclosed fees or clauses not presented at the time of signing.

harassing phone calls

if you are over due on your bill even by under a week they harass you with phone call 3 or more a week one phone call will surfice then they try to force you to pay. not good business practice I told them the exact date I was going to pay them and still they call to harass me understand I am at work and can get terminated by answering my phone or having it ring while serving customers again 1 phone call a week is sufficient.

Do not waste your time trying to work here

I interviewed with this company and I have to say this is probably the worst experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. They have you do five zoom interviews and an IQ test a typing test and a Mortgage test and then a group interview if you can make it to that point. They basically tell you that they are soliciting current customers and getting them transferred over to you without the understanding that a mortgage lender is going to be getting on the phone with them very deceptive and not a very honest company I would not recommend them to anyone.

Their website is terrible

Their website is terrible. It is impossible to figure out how much remaining balance there is. More than once when calling they would pick up the phone and then just hang up without saying anything. I'm glad my loan is paid off and I'm done with them for good

This company is not professional

This company is not professional. Trying to keep an account current for family member that passed away. Paid four payments and now being told payment didn't go through yet provided me with Confirmation numbers and now will not speak to me until probate letter. How is it I'm trying to pay and receive total disrespect and hostility! Make a payment then receive repossess notice. Wow. Great job! Disgusting

BEWARE - Dishonest Practices

BEWARE! Good Leap is an extremely dishonest credit loan company. They calculated my loan in a "promotional" period with no interest due if paid off in 12 months. They debited my account every month with the amount they said would pay off the loan off in a timely manner (never wrote a check or paid a payment on my own - they debited the account each month by their calculations). Due to an error on their part, they miscalculated by .03 cents. Now they claim I'm out of the promotional period and I owe them $800 in back interest. Six phones in which I spoke with flunkies who said a case would be opened and a case manger would call me within 1-2 days every time I called. NEVER had a return call for 2 weeks as of this posting. DO NOT TAKE A LOAN WITH THIS COMPANY. Oh, and they keep calling me to ask if I need any other home improvement loans. REALLY like I'd ever give them my business gain. Truly a bad company to do business with. BEWARE!!!

Extremely Disappointed – Lack of Transparency and Communication

A few months ago, I was approved for a $55,000 loan from GoodLeap to finance a home improvement project. I signed the agreement, met all the requirements, and the project is already underway. However, I was recently informed by the contractor that GoodLeap decided to cancel the financing without providing any clear explanation — and worst of all, I never received any official notice or communication directly from the company.I’ve tried reaching out to get answers, but so far I’ve received no clear information or viable solution. This situation has put my entire project and finances at serious risk.A company that handles major loans like this should have a responsible and transparent communication policy with their customers. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.I do not recommend GoodLeap. If you’re considering working with them to finance a project, I strongly urge you to think twice.
