I have been a customer with Good Leap for over 1 year paying them an amount of $286.69. I have received an email requesting I pay $409.86 effective 11/04/2024. I cannot afford to pay this amount. The email did not explain why the amount went. I am very very dissatisfied with this company. I am retired and live on a low income and cannot afford to pay the amount they have requested.
Do not do business with this company. They will not allow you to pay down on your principal payment. Everything goes up front to interest, which is exorbitant. My bad for listening to the salesman & not thoroughly reading the loan documents. Don’t make my mistake.
Wost company to loan threw their interest is outrageous went from 5.7 to 6.2 in just 2 pay periods wt*f had to just pay it all at once lady on the phone was like I have seen people go from 5 to 10k in about 3 months or 4 like who would allow that wT*f sh**ty interest per dim they take interest.... they get you with the "PROMOTION"
Would not give any stars.. if you want to use your spouses social without your permission and fraud is ok with you .. then use this company.. my name and social was used fraudulently and this company wants me to pay for it.. you guys need to check with someone 1st before you use there credit information…. It was on a recorded line that my information was used fraudulently and you guys think it’s ok.. also my name was never signed on the contract.. Fraud was taking place in this matter.. your company needs to shut down because you definitely don’t know how to run a business..
The vendor said I needed a 650 credit score to support solar for my $1M house through this company. Well, the soft pull had me approved. Then suddenly that was not enough so I needed a cosigner. Then that was not enough either for a $120 month payment. This lender should make up there mind.
I reviewed my communications with GoodLeap in detail after writing my initial review. I am convinced that they intentionally omit the the promotional period end date. Their "Welcome" email, as they call it, provides lots of info but blatantly omits the actual promotional period END DATE yet discloses many other dates to confuse someone quickly looking at the document. Subsequently, the monthly emails indicate the first payment due date, not the end date. This is how they make their money - be very careful if you accept a GoodLeap loan.
This is a bad company; stay away if possible. I took a loan for a roof repair at 12.99% interest. Within a week or two, I paid off all the loan balance. For Goodleap, it doesn't end there. They send me a bill for 156 in the first month. I couldn't figure out why. The loan is paid off within a week or two and what is the $156? I found out that when I pay the full loan, they already charged me an interest. Bad!!!!
