Process designed to get u to give up

This has been the most frustrating process I have ever gone through. So much so, it feels like a scam.I have been trying to get my church verified as a non-profit so we can obtain Google Workspace for Nonprofits.Immediately out the door, they deny me and don't explain why. So, I have to do some research on how to contact them to determine why there was a denial. I use their chat system. I then get an email stating the following: "We have confirmed that your organization has nonprofit status. However, we still need to confirm that you are associated with them, as part of our verification process." I send them a copy of the annual report to the secretary of state showing that I am a board member and an image of my driver's license. Then, I get an email with the following note: "We have reviewed your application using the documentation you have provided so far, but we would like to request an additional one to continue helping us complete our due diligence checks. Please provide a copy of your EIN assigning letter from the IRS as soon as possible."I sent them a copy of the letter from the IRS that gave us 401c3 status and showed the EIN.They responded that this was not what they wanted. They suggested I contact the IRS to obtain a copy of the EIN assigning letter.I call the IRS, and after being vetted, the IRS faxed me a letter confirming that they had given us the EIN. I emailed this back to Goodstack.Response? Not what they wanted. Since our laylead church received the EIN assigning letter in 2008, we had to search through old files in hopes to get the letter. Luckily, we found it. I sent a copy via email. Now, what do I get? Another email which states the following: "We have reviewed your application using the documentation you have provided so far, but we would like to request an additional one to continue helping us complete our due diligence checks. Please provide a copy of a bank statement that shows your organization's name as soon as possible."So, yes, I will get them a copy. But, I am also considering sending them a letter from one of our members who is a lawyer.Goodstack could have provided us with a list of items they needed for verification, but instead they request items one at a time, dragging the process on ad nauseam. As a result, we have lost access to our Google Workspace for Nonprofits account. So,when and if this process is over, I will have to reapply for the workspace.

Their application process is broken

Their application process is broken. 1.Did not let me apply using our domain email.2. Customer service gives you the run around about identifying docs needed.3. Customer service correspondence is confusing and incorrect. They have 3 people working on our case, all three giving different information.4. Once you email them, they are asking for different items than the application itself.

Due Diligence.

We are a new nonprofit and I was voted in behind the original Secretary. Through the help of your staff. You quickly verified my association with the nonprofit I am managing. We appreciate the deep discounts through your organization.

Good

Yes, we inquired about the activation of Google Workspace for Nonprofits, and they provided very helpful assistance. We now have a clear understanding of the steps given.
