Sales staff were really approachable and very informative, no question was too much trouble. The packing team were good overall, however the "container to container" move we were promised didn't eventuate, and our items ended up being double handled (into a removal van to take to the port to be packed into the container). There were delivery delays with shipping which were very well communicated as soon as Grace knew about them, and the local team in Christchurch kept me updated whenever any new information was available. The Delivery team was amazing, they were a team of 7 and the unloaded the container in no time at all and had the large items of furniture re-assembled within a few minutes. They confirmed with us if there were any issues and how to proceed with getting the used packaging collected once we had unpacked. Unfortunately, there were a few items damaged in the move, so I am glad we paid for insurance. The items damaged were either not wrapped or packed with due care and attention, which is a shame as everything else went very smoothly. Just claiming through insurance now and the process so far has been smooth.
Second shift in just over a year for an older couple in poor health. Consistent with the last move, the team, with some of the familiars, turned up promptly as promised and again helped us sort out innumerable boxes and packed up the entire kitchen. Everything done carefully and thoughtfully. At the last minute, our new home was inaccessible so everything had to be put in a container for storage at Grace facility. The people, the team, and the whole organisation from Dave, the boss, always available for consultation, make this stressful process as bearable as possible.
