I found Grace to be competitive on pricing and excellent value for money. We moved a 4 bedroom house from Christchurch to Wanaka and used their storage facility for 9 months. Pickup and delivery was made to feel pretty stressless and seamless overall. They were flexible with delivery dates around our new build finishing. No breakages or major dramas. I would use them again and absolutely recommend.

He was ably assisted by Andy and Francis. They were extremely well mannered, and considerate of our situation that had changed due to a sudden death in the family. Thanks guys.We also appreciated Nigels phone calls once he arrived at the destination and again to wish us well as he left.Well done Team.
I might not have a huge number of items to move so you would think this would be an easy move. However, once I paid the quote I never heard from Grace ever again. I had to continuously call to confirm a pick up date, then again to confirm a delivery date three weeks in advance. Then a day before the delivery I called to confirm if everything was alright and seems like they had not scheduled my delivery... They apologised and told me would confirm this time for sure and will call back... Two days after I had to call them back asking when is going to be that "when". Currently after three weeks or so after they picked up my items I am still waiting to find out if they will be ever delivered. I tried to believe, but the lack of communication is baffling. From my end their service was good until I paid, then they forgot about me. At least that is my experience.
Absolutely disgusting service. Had a container shipped to France after accepting a quote from Grace who had my items in storage. When my goods arrived I could not reconcile what was delivered with the numbered reconciliation provided. Goods missing, goods not mine, goods packed damaged, goods with missing parts. On top of tis they charged me port fees in France. They say that these were because of my poor communication with the French agent. I received two emails which I responded to in a total of 5 days, my goods took 22 days to get out of the port. The ship arrived 27 Jan 21 and the first email I got was 11 Feb 21 advising customs charges. I then received another large bill for port charges. I'm going to take this further because they have not provided any justification or proof as to the reconciliation of my goods or the added port charges. I believe the police need to be involved as well as the SFO, Maritime Authorities and the IRD.
I would give 0 stars if I could.We recently moved from NZ to Australia. We used Grace removals to move our stuf and paid the shipping fees to Grace NZ before they started. We also got quote for storage in AUD once our stuff is in Australia.Our stuff arrived Australia last week and Grace AU just gave us a new price for storage which is 40% more expensive than what we were quoted by Grace NZ. We asked Grace AU to honour the orignally quoted price but don't seem to care and just told us this is the price they charge.What's the point of the quote if you just going to charge whatever you want? How could anyone trust your quotes if you don't honour them?Very disapointed with Grace Removals AU and everyone beaware of them not honouring their quotes.
Very pleased with the whole move. Great team on the packing. EVERYTHING arrived in perfect condition. Exactly when it all should, too. Super communication through the whole process. Thank you to all involved. It really did remove a lot of stress for us.
