We previously used Grace 6 years ago and were so impressed with the whole process so we decided to book with them again for our recent international move from Aus to NZ. We have been so disappointed with the whole process!! They picked up all our stuff and there was a huge delay in our belongings even leaving the country and we were not informed of this. We had to keep ringing to find out where our stuff was! No tracking feature, nothing! Our belongings arrived 6 weeks later than they had initially said. When it arrived some of it was damaged and now we are in the process of claiming our insurance (we paid $1000) and we can't seem to talk to anyone who cares (it's been 2.5 months) Just save yourself the hassle and go with another company.
Grace was beautiful at Selling their product. Unfortunately the hassle free, fully controlled door to door delivery that they sold is not what they delivered. I was super satisfied when I was sold Grace and felt like I was in good hands at the very beginning. They never communicated that there would be other vendors that they contract with that will charge you for their services to get your stuff actually to your door. I had more then a 10% increase in cost that wasn't ever communicated to me as something that might happen. Grace mislead me to believe that they would provide a well handled door to door delivery and they did not. Be wary as to what is actually in the quote they give you and know that you might have to pay more for what they commit to you from their vendors they work with.
Fantastic service from consultation to delivery of my household furniture. Due to a new work opportunity I moved from Auckland to Melbourne. My consultation was thorough, with all costs given up front, how the process works, pickup/delivery ETA's...My furniture was all carefully boxed up, wrapped and loaded onto truck efficiently and quickly and I was happy with the workmanship. The shipping ETA that I was given from the start of the process was accurate and was a bonus that the storage once it was received in Melbourne was cost effective, as I didn't move into my new place for 3 weeks (after my furniture cleared aussie customs). Delivery of my furniture was on time, delivered with care, unpackaged and placed where I wanted it, and all packaging was taken away. I really appreciate the service I got from Grace, it made the move so much easier for me, they really took a lot of stress out of my move. People asked me how did I get on with the move to Melbourne - 'easiest move ever'..... Highly recommend Grace. A special shout out must go to the pickup/delivery crews in both Auckland & Melbourne who couldn't of been more top notch. Cheers.
I recommend Grace Removals 100%. Their quotation was very competative and the service very professional. Every step of the way from the initial meeting with the Sales Representative to the packers and unpackers was a pleasure. Thank you Grace Removals for making our move so easy.
My partner chose Grace for our move from Auckland to Melbourne. We were really pleased with the guys who packed us up and their atttude was first class. We also had a simialr experience in Melbourne where the team leader was very calm and patient. We would recommend grace for a move from New Zealand to Australia.
Our container docked on the 3rd of Feb in Tauranga. The 5th we received an email the containers its on its way to Auckland and will take 10 to 15 working days for our stuff to be delivered. It over a month now with no container and a lot of excuses everyday. The most pathetic service ever seen. Will never recommend anybody not to use Crace Removels NZ.
Dreadful service. A box was lost, the delivery people admitted it, and despite numerous phone calls and being shuffled all around the office and having promises that someone would call us back, no one ever did. Will never use Grace again and would never recommend anyone did.
Initial quote full of promise. Upload and offload team very good. All other internal processes and communication very poor, resulting in delays which added significantly to our costs. Some compensation was given but only for extra accomodation in Christchurch. General manager admitted company failure and mistake. We made our feelings very clear in an email, I have written several reviews. No one has contacted me to follow up and I still feel we have been let down. It would be remiss of me not to share this so the company can make adjustments to their business model.
