I got a call after I register my interest on migration, agent was asking for my eligibility information after ask for my bank card 6 digit.. later I checked with my friend on banking sector I provided that .For the registration purposes he ask me to pay USD 1450 while on the call itself, I decided that bcz he wants my card details to finish this application or he send a link for this purpose. I ask him I need some proof before i do the payment like a evaluation that me and my family is eligible for the migration program or which visa is suitable for as to enter Canada.

At the end of October I'm going to Canada for a longer period. After I made this decision I was really exited and to be honest I felt nerves as well. Applied for Permanent Residency in April 2021 with Great North Visa and I sent them over US$10,000. I have presented them with all the documents that they requested, the last being biometrics on June 13th, 2022. I have not heard from them. I have emailed them and telephoned them numerous times, the response being that someone will contact me within 48 hours. I got desperate and visited the address on their website and letter head to find that no one has heard of them. Is this a scam.....
My husband and I moved from NYC to Montreal and hired GNV to assist with acquiring residency through family sponsorship, since I am a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada. Long story short they were quick with taking our money (close to 10K USD) but never submitted an application to immigration even though we paid 3K to fast track the submission. Unfortunately we could not get our money refunded from these crooks. They manufactured lies without compunction when I tried to seek restitution. Seems the Sr. Account manager assigned to our case was never an RCIC. Somehow that was our 'misunderstanding'. Naturally they stated there was an RCIC who was waiting to be assigned to our case?! They are polished con artists who get away with this scam. Since they did absolutely nothing but rob us and churn out lies under the guise of diplomacy, we managed to get the ball rolling and just got approved for our Undertaking in Quebec, giving the green light for our residency application to be processed. Do not hire this company. Either do the paperwork yourself or hire an independent RCIC. You will be spared the trauma of theft and the crisis of starting the immigration process from scratch!Follow up to GNV’s canned virtue-signaling response; I wasted time trying to ‘resolve’ this issue with you, even engaging a BBB customer rep. and my credit card company, to no avail. As other real reviewers attest you use immigration services as a front to extort money from people desperately trying to relocate and better their lives. Any invitation by GNV to resolve a dispute is simply smoke and mirrors. Once you give them your money they will hook you into paying more while absolutely nothing is done to facilitate residency. Having spent the past months fulfilling the requirements to attain sponsorship and Undertaking in Quebec, it’s clear to me that GNV did absolutely nothing to achieve this end, other than to rob me.
I paid great north visa 990 USD on 11/08/2022. i emailed them a day later saying that i changed my mind about going to Canada and if it was possible for a refund. A man that works for them emailed me saying that they were only willing to pay me back 200 USD of the 990 USD that i paid them. If this isn't theft then i don't know what is. I have emailed this man on more than one occasion about getting a greater refund but he refuses to do it. Absolute joke. GNV evaluated my C.V and told me which visa i'm eligible for. This is not worth 990 USD. This company stole big big money from me. I have never been defrauded like this in my whole life
